The anti-Noctaere principles of the plant must be potent if not only the deer gains that benefit from ingesting it, but also the person who consumes the deer's meat. That suggests a strong transference of this anti-Noctaere chemical, whatever it might be. ]

I wonder if consuming the Dawn also gives the deer some level of immunity to a Noctaere's influence. [ Zelda taps the nib of her quill against her notebook as she thinks.
