Although Alastor's vernacular is a little different (more of "deal" than "pact"), the princess is now predisposed to think of his explanation at the mention of forming a pact with a demon. Unfortunately, Alastor left Zelda with a vivid image of herself on the throne of Hyrule as a puppet queen to the deal maker.
Thankfully, Satan is much more careful with his words than the other two demons in Songerein, so he is spared an immediate downturn in the conversation.
