She waves the staff around, muttering an incantation, and from the hand of hers on the tree, a small magical portal opens up.

She glances back over her shoulder at him and says, with a smile, ]

[ Then she pulls her hand away, in a gesture almost like she’s pulling a door open, and the portal grows to the size of a real door. She steps aside and gestures for him to approach. Although it’s on the other side of what seems like an arcane veil, Eustace would be able to see the Corgi Tree if he looks closely enough. ]
