Hate to bring you all down from the festivities, but some of us aren't exactly around any more.

I suppose the dark icky dream monsters that have got everyone so flustered could have got them. Imagine! Going out alone in the night like that. Brrr!

...Or maybe they got out and left us behind to fend for ourselves. Either way, it's pretty useless to speculate.

So! I suppose a roll call's in order. Name and origin world seems the most helpful. Lots of you came in groups, right? Or you made friends quickly. So spill.

I'll go first. Shoka Sakurane, from earth. Her place is abandoned, and she hasn't been seen for 2 weeks now.

I'm by no means an expert on this, but... wouldn't that mean your friend has woken up? If that's the case, then I suppose it isn't a bad thing at all...

[ It's only after she's written it that she realizes this might be interpreted as her being nonchalant about someone else's loss, which of course isn't her intention. After struggling with her words for a moment, she follows up with some explanation. ]

But it doesn't mean we won't miss them! It's always sad not to be able to see your friends anymore... even if they're safe and sound.

I'm afraid I don't know of anyone who might have disappeared myself, but I will make sure to report if I notice anything!

That's a very good question... though I suppose we don't really know why only some people show up here, either, do we?

Someone on the network took responsibility for the nightmare creatures at least... but I don't that little mess is connected to any of the reasons why some versions of us found our way here.

But more irritating is if these people just woke up and went back to their normal lives, there wouldn't be any evidence of anything. Just like if those things erased them in their nightmare, there wouldn't be any that way either.

On one hand, it would make sense... since that's how dreams work, I think? But there again, that's a little sad, too... it doesn't make what happens here any less important.

Who knows. If they're gone gone, they might not even have got back. Imagine- when our dream ends, they're still gone.

But I'm only speculating. It's not like this place makes enough sense to line up with how anything else works.

[And that's an excellent idea! Except the tapirs are still wandering around with a very distinctive deer in headlights sort of look about them at all the people suddenly in their dreamscape. Though perhaps if Noel does it...]
