All is well at hand to be finished by the big day, but I have a few trades to do to reach my goal of what the texts say is an "officiant". In my world that would be a person of higher standing.

Santa sadly has not answered my letter and I will not bother him further.

I had asked Trahearne as I knew he had military standing in his world and was also friend. The rules are likely more lax here as well, given there are no official paperwork or documentation here. So you could just ask a friend or other acquaintance to officiate.

For the most part. There is a certain sense of "authority" that helps make one feel as if their marriage is official and can't be devalued or doubted, but I feel that's not so important in this world.
