How much glitter? Did the bauble change after it was returned? Did it just fly out of the well with the glitter?

I've never seen it reject a wish before. Except if the bauble was fake, of course.

Oh dear! I hopefully didn't breathe in too many. If my eyes do get unwell, I'll come to you. Right now, my hair is rather glittery at the moment.

There's quite a lot of glitter. I bet you can still see them on the ground if you went to the Wishing Well now. I haven't notice any changes on the bauble. Unless you count brushing the glitter off it, uhahaha.

That sounds harmless - and perhaps even fun? I suppose it depends on your taste. I know of some individuals who’d be excited to have sparkly hair.

I’m sorry to hear you won’t be reunited with your family pet - but that does only invite more questions.

Does the well not being back living creatures? Is it due to the fact your entire family owns the animal, not just yourself? Does the well perhaps not grant feline related wishes? We can’t assume it’s for a reason which makes logical sense, as we are in a dream …

I can think of a few possible reasons. My little one is a lively one, despite being cursed. Or perhaps he can fight?

He's cute, adorable, very fun to tease and have the softest of hair to ruffle. And a little cursed.

Cursed for cutting down a cat, so the stories goes. If he killed a person, I imagine he would turned out quite differently.

I never did quite ask. But his name is Nansen. You could say he got his name from his curse.

[Unlike others, Nansen's cat-like features is more behavioural... and however those cat ear shaped hair of his works.

How well does Gokudera know his sword history? Norimune would be impressed, as young Nansen's tale isn't as well known as other blades. Or his name isn't as blatant like the various blades whose names tell what they slayed.]

That's right. After that initial explosion, I feel like that's enough glitter for this old man today.

[Honestly, he would try it again. But he wants to watch someone else suffer instead.]

He's not quite there, yet. The little one need some more training, but I hope he can. He's our dear cat.

Oh, can he speak? That’s no normal cat! Nansen…

[Gokudera knows as much about sword history as he does baseball, and that’s not much. He’s not spent any time studying that specific subject, given he’s more focused on explosives, and is Italian. He may be surprised to learn of that namesake, but alas, he’s ignorant.]

I can always pop over there and offer you a shield or two? I just want to be certain so no one gets their hopes up.

That's one possible reason. I'm just curious to see if I can bring him here.

[If it works, he would be more strategic about his next wish. Like his successor, or a fellow colleague from that place... But since this method is a failure, he can safely rule it out for now. His bout of curiosity is fulfilled.]

And it might be fun to see how he reacts in this wonderfully unique world.
