[It's a fact that he's slowly learning, or rather relearning, that oftentimes it isn't help so much as support that is necessary to help someone overcome difficult times. That opposed to doing stuff for somebody, giving them the strength they need to do it themselves is better.

Because for sure Hiyori is strong enough to stand on her own two feet. If she stumbles, he'll be there to catch her, but she doesn't need someone to carry her all the way.

The coin may be handmade and hold no monetary value to society as a whole, but to him it's the most precious change he's ever received. It has meaning. He'll never forget where it came from, or what happened to earn it. It's a special piece of their memories now, counterfeit or not. It's real to his heart. And it's going right on the collection box of his new shrine, to make him smile even more every morning.]
