A few days ago, a coward led some people uninvolved in the situation to confront me in the forest, despite being aware of how dangerous that was. I would like to take this moment to apologize to those that I've caused harm to. It was not my intent and that outburst won't happen again.

I was at Barclay ten years ago, but for some peculiar reason, my memories around that time is rather hazy.

[But a prison escape plan? That can't be right... Barclay is the most secure prison in London. Governor Caidin would've had his head if he allowed something like that to happen.]

But I can say that I wouldn't have helped a prisoner escape. Hard to imagine anyone escaping... Barclay is known for its security and I was the chief warder during that time.

Based on what you've told me, my dealings with your father would only involve his life in Barclay... and he would know that he's been wrongly convicted of quite a massive crime.

I certainly know the consequences of not having the truth. [Nearly took out a man without having the full story.]

I don't expect the truth to always be pleasant, I just don't want to make another mistake that could have been avoided.

[If Genshin was a truly horrendous inmate, he probably doesn't want some of his final moments to be remembered in such a manner. But... he can't speak for the man and if Kazuma wants to know, then he should tell him still. He's already agreed to say something anyway and he truly doesn't want to go back on his word.]
