Subject: Greetings

Well, I've never been particularly good with introductions, but I suppose they are in order nonetheless.

My name is Alisaie Leveilleur, and I hail from a star called Hydaelyn. I very much hate sitting on my hands, and things here are rather far too quiet for my liking, so if anyone would like a partner to work with, please feel free to call on me. I'm not lacking in combat skills, but I'd also very much like to begin working with this.. dreamotion energy, as it were, so if anyone should like to practice with me, or be practiced on, please let me know.

I also wouldn't mind company while I clean up this treehouse.

Also, is there anywhere I might find some fresh cookies or cupcakes?

[ Well, the broom is shoved into his hand, as he has to quickly switch the paper bag he has in his arms to one arm instead. ]

Whoa! I guess you really took me at my word!

[ Not that he minds, of course. Cleaning is probably one of his favorite pastimes. He's yet to meet a dust bunny he can't defeat!! ]

Let me just set this down and then we can come up with a plan of attack.

[ whoops sorry thoma, alisaie is a very forward kind of gal, enjoy your broom.

she's also quite curious, and she's already leaning forward to try to inspect the paper bag, but she's quite short so it isn't exactly easy for her to see inside, no matter how she cranes her neck. but she's smiling, even as she magicks a dishrag into her hand in a flurry of sparkles. ]

Oooh, did you bring something? What is it?

[ what's in the baaaag ]

[ Thoma is a beanpole anyway, so she really had no chance to see what's in the baaaaag. He sets it down on a counter soon enough, so if she want to stick her nose inside, she'll find... a bunch of groceries, basically. ]

I didn't bring any cookies or cupcakes, unfortunately, but I had some extra ingredients lying around and thought I'd bring them with me in case we wanted dinner later. Cleaning can really work up an appetite!

[ no cookies or cupcakes?? alisaie looks visibly disappointed, but she swallows her disappointment so as not to seem like the petulant brat she is. alas.. sweets will have to come at a later time, maybe she'll stop by the café once they're finished. ]

Well, I suppose that will have to do. Thank you though, you're very considerate.

[ it might not be cookies, but it was still quite nice of him to think to bring food at all! ]

[ She must really have a sweet tooth if she's that disappointed over the lack of cookies. He makes a mental note to gather some baking supplies sooner rather than later. ]

Don't mention it. I know we're all trying to settle in here, and some good food and good company can go a long way towards that end.

[ With the bag now set aside, he takes the broom up in both hands - not too unlike the way he carries his spear. ]

Alright, where should we start?

[ a girl loves her cookies, okay.. ]

Well, you aren't wrong. I shall strive to be as good a company as I can manage!

[ which is, really, arguably better than her company used to be.. alisaie was once rather prickly, always insisting she do everything on her own, her social skills quite lacking, to say the least - but she has come a long way. dare i say she is sometimes downright pleasant! but she'll learn to bully thoma soon enough.. ]

I suppose we ought to start from the top down, so we don't knock dust onto the clean floor.

[ she cranes her neck to peer at the empty shelves and countertops. ]

Which means we should get you something besides a broom for now.

I think you’re pretty good company already.

[ They worked well together back in the dollhouse, and with no creepy dolls in sight, cleaning should be a breeze. (She can and should absolutely bully him, though.) ]

I really know my way around a feather duster, if you have one.

[ Of all the things that came with him to this realm, his trusty duster wasn’t one of them. A real tragedy in the land of Thoma. ]

Well, aren't you just a sweet, kindhearted fool.

[ it's a teasing barb, but alisaie is smiling, taking the bite out of the insult. she's not good at accepting compliments!! so she'll bully him instead. ]

Anyroad, I've no feather duster, but you could certainly attempt to make one..

[ she waves her conjured rag. it's covered in a yellow chocobo pattern. ]

[ The jab startles a laugh out of him. Lady Ayaka does tease him sometimes, but she’s always so gentle about it. If anyone else has anything else bad to say about him, it’s usually genuine and muttered behind his back. He can’t remember when he was last on the receiving end of this kind of ribbing – well, perhaps Paimon has thrown a bit his way. ]

Is that what you think? I guess you could be right.

[ He doesn’t seem to mind it, though. His eyes fall on the rag in her hand when she waves it at him. ]

Oh, that’s so cute! Let me try!

[ Thoma’s old duster is very important to him, they’ve been through a lot together! As such he doesn’t think he wants to try to replicate it, and instead focuses on the feeling he has while using it – calm, contentment, peace – and sure enough, in a shimmer of yellow-orange light, a feather duster appears in his hand ]

You may come to regret my company, in time.

[ she says through a smile, her voice light and airy, but don't say she didn't warn him!! alisaie has a big heart, but she's a giant gremlin, definitely much moreso than ayaka.

but anyway, she watches with great interest as he concentrates, the light taking shape between his hands, until poof! there's a feather duster in his hands. alisaie grins broadly. ]
