Preliminary Crystal Research Results

Subject: Crystal Observations
I've made some preliminary observations regarding the crystals. Without the proper equipment, it's necessary to rely solely on visual observation. My planet for a spectrometer.
The crystals powering the devices we found are certainly different than the crystals in the mines below Reverein in more than just color. I attempted to swap one of the crystals powering a device with one of the crystals from the mines, but the latter was unable to work as a proper power source.
I'm currently running tests with these "power crystals" (for lack of a better term) to see if there's a way to improve the efficiency of them. I hypothesize that the fewer imperfections, the more efficient the crystals become. I did notice while venting my frustration that these crystals can be "recharged" but further observation will be needed regarding how much energy we have to expend to be able to power anything.
Does anyone else have any observations?
