Nothing yet...officially. We've already been on a few outings, but I'm not sure if those would count as dates.

Mayhap consider doing something for the person you're seeing? Something that they enjoy, but wouldn't expect from you.

Correct. I attempted to surprise my... [Oh. He hasn't actually said it out loud before this. In-person or journal.] significant other with Starlight dinner because I knew she loves the holiday and cooking. It didn't turn out perfect, but it was my attempt at doing something for her sake.

I'm sure whomever you're seeing has some sort of hobby or thing that they like. Mayhap surprise them with something that comes from the heart?

I'm not really good at that sort of thing, but I understand your point. It's worth considering.

There are plenty of other things you could do. It just depends on what works best for the two of you. I'm sure it's all situational as well.

So I've heard, and it makes sense. I already planned to ensure the date would be to our tastes, moreso hers.

It's still a learning experience, but I do know she likes cooking. Perhaps I'll do something with that.
