[ The first thing one can notice when viewing this dream is... nothing. An empty, white void devoid of life, save for Noel herself. She stands in front of a tall mirror, one big enough that it reflects her entire figure ─ or rather, it should, but instead, it shows a girl smaller than her, though she bears similar features, almost as though she's a younger version of her. The silence between them is almost deafening, and neither of them seems willing to break it or even acknowledge the other in any way. This goes on for a while, but finally, the girl ─ the reflection ─ speaks up. ]Who are you?[ Noel hesitates for a brief second, biting her lip. It's not that she doesn't know the answer, but─ it's complicated. Too complicated. She's still working on coming to terms with it, so saying it out loud is a bit of a challenge. But she manages to give the little girl a smile, reaching out with her hand and touching the surface of the mirror lightly. ]... I'm you.
[ The girl doesn't lift her hand to meet Noel's. In fact, she's not even looking at her, gaze fixed on the ground and brow furrowed. ]Liar. [ A small creak appears on the surface of the mirror as she says that, and quickly grows bigger, but Noel fails to notice that, taken aback by the unexpected response. ] Someone like you... you're not me![ The mirror shatters with a loud crash, pieces of glass hitting the ground and breaking into thousands of small shards. Noel stands there without moving a muscle, and before she has a chance to process what happened and retreat her hand, an arm reaches out from the dark depth behind the destroyed mirror and snatches her wrist. A figure emerges from the frame: another girl, this one close in age and bearing a striking resemblance to Noel in her features, although her cold, uncaring eyes are colored red, and her long, purple hair is held up in a high ponytail. Her lips curl up in a cruel, condescending sneer as she pulls Noel closer despite the other's desperate attempt to escape her grip. ]Don't fool yourself. You can run, but you can never hide from who you truly are... Noel Vermillion![ The dream ends abruptly, no doubt as the result of Noel fumbling to the floor and waking up. ]

Subject: Requesting Personal Stories About Adventures and/or Travels and Other Items in Relation to Dream Board Post #1205
I am in need of numerous stories about any kind of adventure, journey, or travel you may have embarked on be it in this world or your own.
If you've seen my posting on the board, this post is to provide fuller details about the situation. Last month I had been...trapped in a large tree located on the eastern forests, and within this tree are seven dogs which look like corgis. [Have an imprinted image of what the adorable fluffballs look like:]( image under cut )It all appears to have been pulled in from another world and has remnants of its original magic in place. This magic is a protection spell and prevents the dogs and anything within the tree to leave. Should the dogs somehow manage to leave without it... They will likely die.
Even if it's for their protection, the dogs need and want to go outside. Furthermore, Should something happen to the tree they wouldn't be able to escape. Fortunately, a way to break the original enchantment and cast a new one to protect them as they live in this world has been found. It's simple and requires the following:
- Bee Honey
- Fish Scales
- Adventure Stories
None of these are specific so it's whatever can be found, though the better quality, the better chance of succeeding. However, because of the number of dogs, a large amount of each will be needed to ensure they are properly protected. It would be better if there was a better solution, but this will have to do for now.
As for the adventure stories, as mentioned I need a large amount so I would like to ask any willing to share any personal stories they had. There are no specifics, but I get the sense the story should have some spirit of exploration and discovery, which would fit the purpose of the spell. These stories will be transcribed in a journal used for the spell.
Finally, I am looking to create a headstone. The tree and the dogs had a guardian before, however he perished upon leaving the tree. The remains have been buried, but a headstone would be appropriate as well.

Hi everyone! My name is Sumire Yoshizawa, I'm happy to meet you. I've been here for a bit of time now but this is the first I've used the journals, I guess I was a little nervous..
Um, anyway, it's been a little quiet recently, so I was wondering if maybe anyone would be interested in learning to cook? I know it's a little.. strange to be eating in a dream - do we even have to eat here? It's a good skill to have, though! I don't need anything in return, I'm happy just to help people learn how to cook, everyone should have at least a couple good recipes under their belt!
I'd also like to learn to bake, if anyone has any experience.. it's kind of like cooking, but it's really different, and I don't have as much practice with baking.

Subject: Regarding the Mutton Man from the Dream Board
Attention everyone,
If you've looked through the recent Dream Board, you may have seen a quest regarding an entity referring to itself as the "Mutton Man" and is involved with slaughtering sheep and harming others. Nier and I have encountered a similar figure in the recent dreamscape during Halloween, the one the tapirs are calling a "dreamshift." It appeared around the witch's hut and we weren't able to determine if it was related to what happened that night or not. It was a formidable adversary, capable of inhuman speed, strength, and defense. We were able to destroy it, but the similarities are concerning.
Regardless if it was brought in from the dreamscape or something separate, take extreme caution when engaging with it. [The handwriting quickly shifts from the straightforward, neat handwriting to WHAT'S NIER'S HANDWRITING LIKE LMAO]The "Mutton Man" wasn't messing around and he's dangerous! Please be careful if you see him. I don't want anyone to get hurt. Eustace is right when he says the Mutton Man's really strong. Somehow we managed to fend him off, but I don't think it's over. The Mutton Man said so himself!![It can't be seen, but Eustace is side-eying Nier who just rudely barged in.]As Nier said, its final words along with its disturbing rhyme were "This isn't over" and "Everything has an ending." Whether it's the ravings of an insane creature or a warning has yet to be determined. Given what Soldier: 76 stated in his recent entry regarding the Erasers and the Story Eater, however, I am beginning to wonder if they might be related. When it was destroyed, it turned into paper and black ink. If you fight and manage to damage the one here, take note of what kind of injuries it sustains. [Nier pauses for a moment because he's going to say something that sounds absolutely ridiculous.]The Mutton Man left behind something after we destroyed it! You might not believe me, but it was a moon cake! Please don't ask me why it was a moon cake. I'm just saying what I saw. Songerein—
A dream world born from the clash of three different universes. One world produced emotion energy, a byproduct created when one's emotions manifested into a more tangible force. Another produced dream energy, a byproduct of one's dreams that allowed one to view and traverse through them. Both worlds produced so much excess energy they were diverted into an empty universe and happened to collide, producing a new, strange world made up of a new source, dreamotion energy. It remained a barren wasteland until a tear through the dimensions appeared and the concepts of fairy tales poured through. Magic, creatures, environments—they were all dumped in a central location and life began to form. But were they real? Or just figments of what they used to be? Regardless, this giant clash has created a unique world filled with unlimited possibilities.
But of course, a clash of this size would have some side effects. The dream energy in particular remains volatile and continues to seep out with its innate ability to connect to any dream in any world. If there is a strong enough resonance between the dreamer and dream energy, a version of the dreamer, a dream self, is formed and pulled into Songerein while the original body remains in their world safe, unharmed, and unaware of what's going on. Only after accumulating enough dreamotion energy can the dream self "wake up" and leave Songerein to return to its original body, all its experiences felt like a strange, long dream.
Fortunately, Songerein is relatively...peaceful. It's a brand new world after all with only the fairy tale creatures and the dream selves, or dreamwalkers as they are officially called, pulled from other worlds as its denizens. There may be times the different energies become unstable, but it only creates a slight disturbance that eventually settles. Still, the constant connecting and reconnecting through the dream energy means that different things are randomly pulled in and disappear from the world. Those who have decided to make Songerein their home want to build onto it by using the ability to traverse through dreams to their advantage. By creating dreamshifts, they can create giant dreamscapes based on other worlds that large groups of dreamwalkers can enter and bring back concepts to be used in Songerein. Beginning with fairy tales, dreamwalkers could also form dreamshifts based on their own home worlds to bring in something from there. As a bonus, this uses the excess dreamotion energy within the world, helping stabilize it.
So, what kind of world will Songerein become? Just remember…
Where there are dreams, there are also nightmares.
Songerein is a panfandom game based on the following three former games: Somarium, Empatheias, and Forgotten Tales. At its core it is a worldbuilding game with adventure and character development. Player and character action will be what decides what is brought into Songerein, be it for good or ill. Although it's expected for players to be able to create their own fun and not rely solely on the mods, Songerein is billed to be more of a relaxed game for everyone to have fun in.
