[Honestly, Hans was going to give out decent advice at first, but it seems like the writer has already gotten useful tidbits from others. He doesn't feel the need to add more to that... but he wants to add something because he's feeling a little bored.]

If it weren't everything that's happened, he would have just wondered if this was some kind of joke. However, because of everything that's happened, he can't help but stare darkly at those words. It hits a very big sore spot that is going to take a while to heal. He even considers ignoring them, but ends up replying.]

[Isn't that the question of the day. Remorse is a funny thing and Hans doesn't feel much of that, even now. Granted, his emotions aren't so simple either, but it's not something he plans on talking about.]

[Oh, he's actually suggesting something. Truth be told, Eustace is feeling rather cold towards this anon give the great start, so he's not sure how much stock he's willing to put in replies. It is a bit of relief that the person survived, and others might have asked what happened to even make the initial suggestion, but Eustace didn't need to know—it happened, the person feels no guilt, end of story for him. Of course...he knew this was Hans he might have probed further.

Every person wants to be treated like they truly matter, even if they don't express it. A half hearted attitude won't get you far.
