Hello, everyone!

Since there are so many new dreamwalkers who've just arrived, I thought it might be nice to encourage everyone to get together and meet! There is a communal firepit in a clearing just outside of the residential area where I've got a fire going, and I have plenty of supplies to make "s'mores," which I only just learned about recently. (Thank you, Miss Tifa!) If you haven't had this before, please come and try it, it's delicious!

Additionally, I have a request for everyone to please keep an eye out for a few individuals... I realize that this may be in vain since their names did not appear in the directory, but just in case...

Colin
He is a tall, half-elven man with long, dark hair. He is very charismatic and funny and likely to be found busking with his lute somewhere or telling stories!

Aerie
Also tall, but fully an elf, very pretty and intelligent, also with dark hair (but not related to Colin!). She usually has three wolves with her. Extremely competent hunter!

Mellon
Also tall, also fully an elf, he usually does not wear a shirt. He loves to drink and might try to clear out any supply of alcohol... Please do not get into a tavern brawl with him.

Dae
Also tall, and also fully an elf, with white hair and red eyes. He is very good at magic and possibly would want to spar with you! Would likely have an owl familiar with him.

Cibark
Even taller and very very strong! He is a half-orc with green skin and usually wears armor and wields large weapons. He has a very dashing and heroic aura about him!

Sian
Not tall! They usually wear a cloak and a mask. Usually quiet but very sassy. They might be flying around, but they also don't usually remember that they can do that.

If at any point in the future you come across anybody who seems to fit these descriptions, please let me know!

Oh! I don't think I've seen anyone by that description either, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out. Is this a friend of yours that you're looking for?

[Huh, how DOES she describe her relationship with Sakaido? Or the real man behind the brilliant detective persona-- Narihisago... Kiki needs a moment to think before writing:]

It's complicated. I can't say we're friends since we haven't truly met. He tries hard to rescue me, but it's always too late. Most of the time I'm the one who protects him even though I'm unable to tell him.

It may sound strange, but he's an important person to me. I think I would be happy if we were to finally meet.

[ That does... sound rather complex! Or at least, more complex than just "they are my friend." ]

I see... Well, what matters most is that he's important to you. Perhaps the magic of this realm will allow you to finally meet him, someday? If not here, maybe in a dream. Regardless, I hope it will be a happy meeting for you both!

In the meantime, I'll be sure to keep an eye out! He must be a kind person, if he's always trying to protect you.

[But now that she rereads what she wrote, it feels a little awkward. Kiki's so used to being forced to not lie that it comes out in her writing. Hopefully Oriphi doesn't think she's too weird--]

[ Ori has spent a lot of time with people, each with their own eccentricities. This sort of thing wouldn't bother her, even if she can't fully understand what's going on. After all, in many ways, she's not exactly what many would consider normal, either... Case in point: ]

When you see someone with horns and a tail, that would be me. Please don't be afraid to say hello!

[Given the list of Ori's friends, the psychic isn't surprised to hear that she's not human. Ah, she should probably give a warning too--]

By the way, I have a weird power that I have trouble controlling. You might hear my thoughts. If it bothers you, please tell me. I won't mind leaving.

[ Thankfully for everybody involved, Ori hails from a realm where things like telepathy are more commonplace compared to other realms. That doesn't mean that it's something that happens to her often, but she at least has some experience with the sensation of sharing thoughts. Still, she appreciates the warning. ]

Is that so? I appreciate you letting me know. I've been able to hear other people's thoughts before because of magic. I'll let you know if it becomes an issue, but I really don't think that it will be!

[Oh...She never expected someone to have first-hand experience before meeting her. Then again, something like magic and her powers weren't normal or expected back home. That's why most people found her disturbing.]

No. It's just my thoughts.

I wish my world had magic. [Then maybe all the terrible things that have happened to her wouldn't have occurred.]

I see... so your world didn't have magic. Well, now you live in a realm that's full of magic! And I'm more than happy to tell you about the magic where I'm from, too, if you'd like to hear about it.

[ Hopefully Kiki won't be too uncomfortable whenever she arrives, and that this promise of a wholesome conversation can help ease her somewhat. Regardless, Ori has done a lot to make sure that the gathering feels calming and welcoming to everyone who arrives. The bonfire in the center of the communal firepit gives off a comforting warmth, and so do the floating firefly-like motes of light scattered around the clearing, a dreamotion manifestation of Ori's earnest desire to help and comfort people. ]

[It might take her a little time to get there, but Kiki immediately recognizes the place based on the atmosphere. And the person with horns, tail, and lavender skin must be Oriphi-- she's pretty. It's the first thing that pops into the psychic's head, yet she still approaches shyly. It's not that she feels wary; meeting new people can still feel daunting due to past experiences.

So the druid will be approached by a very short teen who gives a quick bow of her head in greeting:]

It's nice to meet you in person...I'm-, um, Kiki Asukai. [She's still getting used to saying her given name first.]

[ Ori seems to hear something like the whisper of someone else's thoughts, which is all she needs to feel to look up and see Kiki approaching her shyly. The druid gives a warm, friendly smile in response as she waves, and bows her head in turn at the introduction. She thinks nothing of the girl's hesitation, especially given her first impressions from their messages and especially so after she sees how young Kiki must be.

When Ori stands to re-introduce herself, she stands at a whopping five-foot-one, not including the horns. ]

It's nice to meet you in person, too, Kiki! I'm Oriphi - but please, just call me Ori.

[ She wonders why there seem to be so many young folks who get pulled into this realm... perhaps something about youth and their dream energy being stronger? In any case, all it really means is that she resolves to make sure they settle in comfortably. She can imagine how much it must be to suddenly find one's self thrust into a new world at such an age.

She gestures for Kiki to take a seat anywhere by the fire. ]
