Hello, this is Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. I've been informed that I've been asleep for the past month in something known as a 'sleep coma.' As such, I hope that explains my absence lately and I apologize for any missed dates I've had.

[Should he also apologize for worrying anyone? It's not something he feels accustomed to, especially not in a genuine manner. But apparently, there's been a couple of people that actually cared and. He doesn't know what to do with that right now, so he'll just continue writing.]

I'm not entirely sure how common such an incident is, but if anyone's curious, I'll do my best to provide details about the long sleep I was in. I'm just grateful that my body nor mind didn't degrade at all while in such a state.

[It's been a while! She had no idea that he had been in any kind of sleep coma, but it's good to hear that he's awakened. Especially after what she's just experienced the last few days...]

Wondered why I haven't seen you around. How are you feeling?

[The unicorn plush has been a topic of conversation in his home, and now he's talking to the person that gave it to him. He really should've just thrown that thing away, but.]

I'm faring well, thank you for asking. I'm only so fortunate that nothing happened to me while I was in such a vulnerable state.

[Genuinely so. Even if she doesn't know him that well outside of the effects of those arrows, she's still happy to know that he woke up without issue...]

Can't imagine everyone would be nice enough to leave someone alone while they slept.

You mentioned a sleep coma? What was that like, if you don't mind me asking?

[He decides not to mention that Ferran watched over him every day while he was asleep. Mostly because he doesn't want to get into that, and have feelings.]

Yes, that's right, but I'm afraid I won't be able to provide you with anything too interesting. It mostly felt like a normal sleep, perhaps slightly longer, but time wasn't something I could discern at all. It certainly didn't feel like a month had passed by and I can't remember most of it.

Even now, fragments of my dreams are leaving me.

It's okay. Just surprised to hear that it can happen at all, to be honest. I was worried for a while that people just went home...

[Which is a relief to hear that it isn't always the case. At any rate—]

I did have a question, though. Did you wake up with any new memories?

New memories?

Ah, are you referring to new memories from my home? It would've been nice to see how my life has progressed back home. :) But unfortunately, I didn't even get a small preview.

[He probably hasn't been executed though, so that's nice. Or maybe that's why he fell asleep for so long, hah.]

Different from mine, then. Reason I asked was because not that long ago, I woke up with my own memories refreshed. Not of home, but of a different world... the one I was in before. Thought maybe you might've if you were asleep for so long...

[Here she was, hoping there would be someone else to talk to about those dreams.]

Just like that, you woke up with new memories? You didn't fall asleep for an extended period of time?

As far as I know, this world is the only new one I've been to. Although, I know of a few people that used to be from another world as well before arriving in this one.

Just like that, yeah. Went to bed the night before, and it was almost like I did sleep for a long time. Woke up with all these memories that felt like they just happened.

Wasn't even any new memories from home, though. I get dreams, but nothing that felt real, I guess. But they were memories of that world I was in before this one, too. Have you heard of that happening to anyone else?

It almost sounds to be overwhelming, Lady Lockhart.

I haven't heard of this situation happening to anyone else, but perhaps you'll have better luck asking people who did come from a different world prior to this one. Maybe they'd feel better discussing it if they knew that someone else had a similar experience.

Off the top of my head, I'm aware that a young man named Kazuma Asogi was from a world not his own before arriving here.

[Tifa's apology comes as a surprise, however, honestly curious what she may be apologetic for. Of course, he remembers their last interaction, but she was mostly stopping him from being a terrible person.

You weren't. At least, I don't think you were...

I didn't realize until later, after the fact, that I think I was under the effects of those arrows...

[Ah, that part. Well, it was sort of Hans's fault that it all happened in the first place, but also, he's not going to say that. That takes a much bigger person and he's definitely not that. Although, he sees no point in rubbing in their past encounter either.

And it might come off as slightly scummy if he's trying to demand a favor right away.]

Please, don't hold any guilt about that incident. You were quite charming, honestly. I felt like I got to know you a little better.

Charming, as I dragged you through a toy store!? I'm almost afraid of the women you know back home.

I never did get the chance to give the gifts to him, but I still have them...

My arm did hurt slightly after that, but you were a lady on a mission. I can hardly fault you for wanting something so much and later, wanting to do something nice for your lover.

But you haven't given him the gifts yet? Is there a reason why?

I don't know. I guess I was just embarrassed after the whole thing. Stuffed them away for a while hoping I'd just forget about it. I felt more bad for you than I did about not giving it to him, to be honest.

I almost feel more offended that you didn't give him those gifts, after what we been through. :( You don't have to spare a thought to me if it would make him happy.

I guess. Although I will say, the song doesn't hit quite the same when it's just me. But I'll think about it. Still, I wanted to make sure I at least apologized for almost dislocating your arm a few times in that store.

Been meaning to ask, you kept the unicorn from that day, didn't you?

Many songs are better as a duet, especially if you share a bond with the other person. It's easier to push past that hesitancy that may hold you back.

Yes, I still have it. It's safely kept in my home; it'd be quite a shame if I threw away our token of friendship so easily.

Hmm, I think so! What kinds of names are good for unicorns, I wonder? It's gotta be better than something like "Sparkles"...

Well, unicorns are mythical, correct? So perhaps something befitting of their status. Although, such a cute representation may not warrant a name like that.

Ah, here's something that I didn't mention earlier, apparently during my sleep coma, a friend of mine placed the plush near me. A sort of protector, if you will.
