Hello, this is Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. I've been informed that I've been asleep for the past month in something known as a 'sleep coma.' As such, I hope that explains my absence lately and I apologize for any missed dates I've had.

[Should he also apologize for worrying anyone? It's not something he feels accustomed to, especially not in a genuine manner. But apparently, there's been a couple of people that actually cared and. He doesn't know what to do with that right now, so he'll just continue writing.]

I'm not entirely sure how common such an incident is, but if anyone's curious, I'll do my best to provide details about the long sleep I was in. I'm just grateful that my body nor mind didn't degrade at all while in such a state.

Yes, it could be that as well. While I haven’t encounter anything else like the Flower Festival costumes just yet, I am hoping to look into more of that kind of magic someday.

Ah yes, that would be a very useful tool to weave such magic into our favorite outfits so we won’t worry too much about the damages they could incur.

I wish you luck on that endeavor. I have no doubt that the answer won't be easy to find, but your determination will undoubtedly pull through.

[May the secret of this outfit be revealed eventually. Hans doesn't care too much, but it wouldn't hurt to have clothes like that either.]

Although, I'm starting to feel fortunate that I wasn't stuck with such a costume while I was asleep.

Why thank you, sir. I will report once I manage to look into this further. Maybe my employer will be interested in it as well: she is a seamstress at the marketplace.

Yeah, it was a pain to get rid of those costumes during the festival: they even released out glitter everywhere from the flowers they have and were very clingy to take off until the night time.

That does sound quite troublesome. Although, speaking of the festival, did you experience anything else that's worth talking about?

Why yes, I had my first violin recital at the festival. It went really great despite my mentor having an allergy problem while we were performing.

[Hans finds himself pinching his nose as he reads her response. None of this information is useful to him, but he has to keep the façade up for just a bit longer. At least he only has to write a response and not act it out.]

First time playing in front of a large crowd as well? I'm glad it went well for you, especially as the first time is always the hardest.

That is correct: there was a large crowd that have turned up for the recital. The song set was a small one but at least the song choices we have chosen did fit the theme of spring and celebration.

So, didn't play any sad songs? I imagine that would ruin the whole atmosphere that people were trying to invoke.

Yeah, I would agree too, my dear sir. Nobody wants to feel down in their emotions during big festivals for too long. They are supposed to be celebratory in nature after all.

There's a time and place to express those more negative feelings.

It sounds like I missed a lot of opportunities at the festival, but I imagine that festival won't be the last here. Perhaps I'll catch you playing the violin next time.

Hopefully there is another opportunity for me to play at a recital real soon. There is a theater at the Riverside area, so there is good chance that there will be acts and performances of various kinds within the near future.

A truly opportune time there.

Maybe you'll find another violin player at some point and start a duet. I've always found duets to be far more engaging than solo pieces.

I will agree with you on that. There are plenty of opportunities that are available for me to showcase my violin skills.

Hopefully I will get to find a partner who is not my mentor. That would be great to play music together.

Why not try asking over these journals? It's a start, and an easy way to see if there's other people with similar skills as yours.

Oh certainly, I will definitely start asking around later as soon as I am done with my errands in a little bit. Thank you very much for the advice.
