In light of that tale about the Story Eater, one thing is clear: it's likely that we'll need to face it - or some other equally fearsome being - at some point.

To that end, I propose that we compile a list of those who are capable of fighting powerful foes should it come down to that. If you wish to volunteer your name, go ahead and do so. I'd like to get an idea of what sorts of abilities and experience we have at our disposal if we need to call upon them.

I'll start: I have considerable experience in fighting with a sword and dagger, either by themselves or dual-wielding. My abilities may not be as strong here as they were in my own world, but it appears that I can use dreamotion energy to augment them and bring them closer to their original level of power. I suspect the same holds true for everyone else here as well.

If there's a way to get a sniper rifle or something of that sort, I'm pretty handy with a gun. Otherwise, if all else fails, I can fall back on hand to hand combat.

I'm a member of the military in my world, but the primary weaponry that we use is not available in this world.

I am capable with firearms and I do have a gun on me. However, I imagine that a bullet is not going to impress a mystical creature like that any.

I'm a member of the military back in my own world, and I have experience in fighting. I have my weapon here with me, so I can join the fight if necessary.

[ There's a pause in the writing as Noel hesitates whether she should add anything else. There's so much more to her abilities and fighting prowess, but... it's not the kind of information she should be divulging freely. In fact, she doesn't exactly want to share that with anyone here unless absolutely necessary. So she'll leave it at that for now. ]
