Subject: Housekeeping Classes!
Hello everyone! My name is Thoma! Nice to meet you! ▽・ェ・▽ノ” (That’s a dog.)
I was just thinking that there are a lot of us here who might be new to living alone or managing things around the house and I wanted to help out. I’m a housekeeper back home, and my duties include cooking, cleaning, mending, laundry, and a few things in-between. These are all valuable skills to have in everyday life!
Usually, I am happy to help where I can, but realistically I can’t clean every house in all of Reverein, so I would like to teach the basics of housekeeping instead. Please let me know if you’re interested and I will schedule some classes! ♡(ᐢ ᴥ ᐢし) (That’s another dog.)
Oh, I also knit so if you want to learn how to do that, I can help there too!
Thanks for reading. Take care everyone!

It just sounds to me like maybe you’re not a dog person. Do you like cats instead?

I've no preference for one over the other. They are more-or-less equal from a purely conceptual standpoint. Canines simply happen to be more assertive when it comes to bouncing about, whining, and getting one's clothes dirty. They do, however, make for trainable and loyal guards.
[See there, he has a few compliments to bestow upon puppykind.]
As for your classes, I think them a wonderful idea. Would that everyone was driven to keep their homes tidy.

Now you’re starting to sound like someone I know.
But thank you! Like I said, I’m always happy to help. Are you interested in attending?

[Or whether that's a positive or negative comparison? Though that much hardly matters to him.]
Not myself, no. I haven't any need for something which I already do out of habit. There's nothing worse than a cluttered living space, after all. But. If you are amendable to having a student volunteered to you, perhaps I've a friend who would benefit from your lessons.
[This... This is revenge.]

[ Which is also probably why he keeps Thoma in his employ. ]
Oh, sure. If you want to bring them along, you're more than welcome to! The last time I did something like this, some of the women around town brought their husbands.
I laughed so much because of your last tag, just wanted you to know. :>
I see.
Loyalty is a trait most difficult to come by in the modern age. When it derives from a place of greed and fear, it loses all meaning. Canines, one could argue, are loyal because it is in their nature. They seem to enjoy it.
[Excuse you but Emet-Selch never said that he was thinking of coming too! B( And just what are you comparing him to, Thoma? A fussy old wife? He can't even begin to process such a dreadful implication...]
I'd intended to send him alone with my regards, but I suppose it could be worthwhile to tag along as well. Particularly if you've any suggestions on how to deal with tree sap.
tbh this whole thread has had me giggling
[ If not for the sender name, he would think Lord Ayato was on the other end of this message.
And any comparison to a fussy housewife is purely coincidental!! Promise! ]
Hey, you never know what you might learn! But what sort of help do you need with sap?
that's high praise, thank you
[And no, Thoma, it most definitely isn't Lord Ayato. Also there are no coincidences in life. Of this, Emet-Selch is all but certain. Irony, yes. Coincidence, no.]
Well, isn't it obvious? Sap is an everyday nuisance when one has taken up residence inside of a treehouse. Though the walls and curtains are easy enough to clean, there's little help for any books and documents left in harm's way. I should like to keep my tomes pristine with the least amount of hassle.
[Mayhap he's serious. Or perhaps this is a test.]
♥
[ Thoma won't get too much further into the details, since a great deal of Ayato's work is sensitive. ]
I can probably recommend some washing methods for getting sap out of clothes and curtains, but if your problem is big enough that it's getting all over your other stuff, a bit of dreamotion might be your best bet!
no subject
And whatever you might recommend, I would hear it. Though "a bit of dreamotion" you say, as if positive emotions grow on trees. The only thing I feel when my work becomes marred and unreadable is annoyance. Hardly conducive to correcting the issue.
no subject
Oh, um. When I get frustrated, I try to focus on something else that makes me happy. That’s usually enough to get some positive dreamotion started, and seeing the results makes me even happier! It kind of feeds into itself that way.
You could always try imbuing dreamotion into something to store later and use when you need it?
no subject
Yet suppose for a moment that I've very little to be happy about. I'm exhausted, bored even, and thus a feedback loop cannot be so easily achieved. What would you suggest then?
Though more importantly than that, I'd be curious to know if you yourself have experienced success with storing your emotions for later use. There was another inquiring about that very thing but a short time ago.
