okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS NOTICED THIS

well yeah, it's what we talk about all the time back home with my besties! but hold on up - you think you can upgrade the low tech here?

I've been trying for a while, yeah! I have my laptop here and it's been in the warzone of trying to figure out technology working here. If I can at least get it working with the power supplies of some of the weird crystals from here, I can probably try to upgrade some other stuff. There was an old café here that had some crystals that powered up some actual appliances, so that's a good start.

I dunno if we'd have a proper internet or something here, but dreamphones that doe the same as the journals? Maybe! That could be kinda cool, maybe charms could give it upgrades, hm...

Err, sorry, I'll have to note that down for later, but uh, yeah! I'm certainly trying! What kinda tech would you hope for though?

you have a LAPTOP? dude, no way! and you're planning all that kind of stuff? you must be like a super big genius! i'd kill for any tech at all, really! it's been forever and a half since i've seen a cute cat on the internet! and texting all my bffs, that's a major miss too!

course it would help if my bffs were here, but still!!! it feels like we're stuck in the dark ages!

Yeah! I got it from one of those bauble thingies after I got here, figured it'd be the best way to get more techy stuff here. I'm pretty good with tech and I was really missing SOMETHING from home.

I dunno if I can bring back the whole internet, but cat pics or cat memes could probably be doable. maybe tapir memes?

These guys! They'd make for really great memes like cats do I think. They had some plushies of 'em at that flower festival thingie too, I have one! I guess they're really popular here.

Yeah!! I mean, kinda? But dreams and folklore and stuff. But imagine sleepy memes about "I'm in ur dreams, eatin them" or something, just like those old cat memes on that hamburger website. Ooh, or maybe if you wanted to flirt with someone, you could use it! Like, "gonna be hopin they bring me to your dreams tonight ¬‿¬"

...though if anyone uses that on me, I'm gonna smack 'em with my journal. That's too corny.

Ahaha... well thanks! I'm not really popular, but I was a hacker! Had a fancy hacker name and everything that I was known by! I could probably make some silly memes for stickers in the journals for now, made add some kaomojis to things or something.
