okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

SECOND

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

REALLY THO

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS NOTICED THIS

that's what everyone keeps telling me! I just wish it was much much much sooner!!!

Perhaps it will. If you are being exposed to everyone on a daily basis, then you will grow accustomed to it, will you not?

i definitely don't wanna lock myself up and miss out on anything

but sometimes i feel like that's what my mom wants, when i think like this about boys

My protection. My mom is kind of overprotective, I guess? She's always afraid the worst will come to get me if she's not around.

Is that not in the nature of family? There is always going to be fear of harm befalling someone that is greatly cared for.

Yeah, but eventually the baby bird has to fly! It can't stay in the nest forever.

Usually it is pushed, yes. It doesn't fly on its own naturally.

And my mom does NOT want to push me. It's a whole thing. I've never even been apart from her for this long.

How are you feeling about it now, being apart for so long?

I do miss her a lot. But some days I'm glad she's not here to see how badly I mess up.

"Mess up." In what ways are you "messing up?"

It's a long list, but I don't think she'd like me talking to so many strangers, to start with.

How are you to meet new people if you are not permitted to speak with "strangers?"

What you mean to say is that her rules and expectations are a bit extreme.

Just a bit. She means well, and she loves me, and just wants what's best for me, though.

Not yet. But I'm sure we can someday!
