Does anyone here know anything about destroying gods? How about stories from your world about spells or artifacts that could strip a god's divinity?

Oh! That's because it's made from his flesh and bone, I think. Well, that's what the stories say. I think it's actually some technologically advanced swordsmithing thing?? It's pretty amazing from the pictures online of it.

He does still exist and he does help out nations in trouble too! The Dark God he killed over a hundred years ago left lasting remnants of itself on my planet and drained a lot of his energy. So cleansing the land is required by him and his sages. It takes its toll on him so we phrobiest do most of the work.

[ Well, that certainly sounds familiar. It's a shame there's no way to contact that God of Light from within this dream world, because Asura would absolutely like to talk to him. ]

You mentioned that it's part of the history of your world. Do you know if there are any books in the Tree of Stories that might have anything on that?

[ The God of Light is actually known for his rambunctiousness and carefree attitude. So he'd have been delighted to speak with the other. Alas, there's not much to be done here, unfortunately. ]

Tree of Stories...oh! Maybe? I never actually went there to check for my own world's stuff. If you want we can go together and try to find it!

[ Shigeru will just give Asura a 👍 emoji as a response before closing his journal and heading towards the Tree of Stories. It takes him a bit to get there because this is his first time. Thankfully his eidetic memory will serve him well in remembering just how to get there next time.

He might be standing outside looking wide-eyed at the literal tree with gigantic books hanging from it?! That is apparently what constitutes as a library here. It's vast and amazing, he's never seen anything quite like it before. So forgive him if he's just standing there like an idiot!! ]

[ Asura hasn't spent much of his time at the Tree of Stories either, but he has visited it once or twice for the novelty more than anything else. Still, even he's impressed with the massive structure, so Shigeru's astonishment doesn't get much judgment from him. ]

Are you Shigeru? [ He asks as he approaches. He's spoken with him once or twice through the journals, but he's never actually met the man face-to-face before. ]

[ Shigeru might startle a little at the sudden cut into the silence. He'll turn to see Asura standing there, flustering a little, as he fumbles with his pad and pen. ]

Yes that's me! Are you...Asura? It's nice to finally meet you in person! [ Have a bright smile as he points to the Tree of Stories. ]

This place is huge! I don't know how the heck we're going to find anything about my world in here, but we should get started.

[ A notepad? Ah, so that explains why Shigeru had been checking for interest in sign language classes. ]

I am Asura. [ He answers aloud with a nod, since Shigeru had seemed to be able to hear him just fine going by his initial reaction to Asura calling him out. ]

I don't know how things are sorted here either. [ It's the blind leading the blind here, really. They'll just have to look around and try to find anything that looks relevant... ]

[ Shigeru smiles and gives the other man a thumbs up before he takes another look at the library. ]

Well we have plenty of time to figure it out, so we should get to work! [ He jots down quickly as he heads off towards the entrance. The inside is just as fascinating as the outside and Shigeru can't help but stare wide-eyed at all the books and the...owls?! ]
