Hate to bring you all down from the festivities, but some of us aren't exactly around any more.

I suppose the dark icky dream monsters that have got everyone so flustered could have got them. Imagine! Going out alone in the night like that. Brrr!

...Or maybe they got out and left us behind to fend for ourselves. Either way, it's pretty useless to speculate.

So! I suppose a roll call's in order. Name and origin world seems the most helpful. Lots of you came in groups, right? Or you made friends quickly. So spill.

I'll go first. Shoka Sakurane, from earth. Her place is abandoned, and she hasn't been seen for 2 weeks now.

Nope. Even more interesting, her place had a couple of adjustments from the whole 'find a hovel and make it your own' objective we got tasked with as soon as we got here. Those adjustments?

They're gone too. Now it's just any old regular tree.

So this place has completely removed her presence here?

Pretty much.

More of a concern is should it be one of those things, they can exert influence here. If not on the people, then the surroundings.

[There's a term for it where he's from, Exorcism. And it's always unsettling. Fortunately, he's too controlled to allow that little thought to spill out onto the pages.]

The worst part is that there didn't seem to be anything to be done about it. As Joshua mentioned in his journal entry, it was useless to speculate without any idea of what happened, or even much knowledge of how this place works in the first place. Even if they knew, they had little control of who comes and goes.

Still...the thought of doing nothing doesn't sit well with him. ]

I suppose the only thing we can do now is to keep a closer eye on those of us that still remain. To have a better idea if or when someone is gone.

Oh, and since we're sharing? There's a ton of those nightmare things in the mountains. Looks like there's some kind of nest. And if you didn't know already, they can't be harmed unless we're in a deeper dream state. You can check it out if you can get out of there fast enough, but I wouldn't advise it.

Something needs to be done about them, since it's a matter of time until they're aware of us. But for the time being? It's not like anyone can do anything.

That is very concerning. It looks like we will need to figure out these dream abilities sooner rather than later.

Mhm! For the moment, all I've got on that is that we need to risk our asses through assisting in nightmares to actually increase our reserves. I suppose it's like anything else. Nothing ventured, and all that.

...I'd sure love a more efficient way.

Unfortunately, finding a more efficient way will still require practice. All we can do is try.
