I apologize. That dreamscape a few nights past was a complete failure of mine.

I suppose I've more to learn about my own dreamotion. Those that [A pause.] met me should expect a pie hand-delivered tomorrow. Enjoy it, or throw it in my face if you must- goodness knows I've earned it.

The karma has been real, in the least: Most of my fruit orchard has been eaten of late, so I'll need to trade a bit more to maintain my pastry stocks.

Found the culprit, though.


On that note- This week's special is bear stew. Very fresh.

I wasn't trying to do that, actually. It turns out that I hadn't read that particular little quirk involving the twin gods Nald and Thal, that they could inhabit one body and split then into two. None of the tales I'd read so much as mentioned it!

It shows that I truly should not have tried to invoke one of the Twelve, at any rate.

So, you were trying to invoke a god... I didn't know you could do something like that with dreamotion. That sounds really powerful.

But why were you trying to invoke him? Is that something people do in your world?

Short answer? Yes. But they shouldn't. Makes false creatures of aether and they're a touch violent. Long story.

[ That does indeed sound dangerous. Not that he can make full heads or tails of the particulars, but like she said, it's a long story. He'll take her word for it; he deals with something similar back home, after all. ]

I guess that makes sense. Trying to do something like that in my world is really dangerous, too.
