Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.



OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

I actually attended a wedding, when I woke up from here and then came back not too long ago... But it was quite similar to what you two are planning!

Why not? You two deserve to have the most perfect time leading up to and on the very day itself!

He glances at Tifa who is also busily responding to the replies before holding in a quiet sigh. Oriphi is right, at the very least Tifa deserves the best and whatever she'd like in celebration of their marriage...but he also knows she isn't one to do too much and is similar to him in liking quieter, simpler things.]

Just don't overwhelm her.

[He'll trust Oriphi, though.]

[ For what it's worth, Ori can at least relate to Tifa and Eustace's stance on pomp and circumstance, which is that they don't much care for it. If she were in their position, she knows that she wouldn't want to make too much of a fuss over things... However, there's definitely a balance to be struck, and she's determined to find that balance for them! ]

I won't, I promise. And I trust Tifa to let me know if things are beginning feel overwhelming, and both of you know that I would listen if that were the case.

I think you mentioned that wedding a while back. You should tell me more about that.

[hearthwarming]

Well... We didn't do any of the before things leading up to it like we are, but... My friend, Cibark, was getting married to my other friend's twin brother! His name is Aeryn. Ah, it feels really familiar now, too, because I think of Cibark like a brother of mine as well...

Cibark is from a quaint little village by a riverside in the woods, and they decided to settle down there. The whole town was there and celebrating! Everything took place by the water, and it was so beautiful. Theirs was in the springtime.

My adventuring friends and I all pitched in to help put everything together. Dae worked on decorations and cast all sorts of neat illusory spells, Mellon helped with putting together the menu, Aerie (Aeryn's twin sister!) helped them write their vows and officiated their ceremony, Colin provided the music, and I got do to the flowers!

This sounds amazing! And like everyone would have had a good time.

[That is exactly what Tifa is hoping for with theirs, but now this is giving her some ideas...]

I wonder if we could do something fun with dreamotion, like your friend did with their own magic.

[hearthwarming]

We did! It really was such a wonderful time, and it was good to see everyone again after we had spent some months apart after our big adventure had sort of ended...

Oh! That's a great idea! He made little things like fireworks go off, maybe something like that? Or we could make it look like there were lots of little shooting stars!

I wonder if we could even make a starry sky... With shooting stars of course. But maybe something a little closer? Right over our heads... Or is that too much?

[Her mind is racing with images and ideas now!]

I think that would be so beautiful, Tifa! I'm sure
a few of us can pitch in with some dreamotion to make that happen for you. We just have to wish really hard for it!

Mm, I'm going to try an idea of mine first, and if I need the extra help, I'll let you know. I might still need some backup on the flowers, though.

[hearthwarming]

Well, you know that flowers are my specialty, so I'm always happy to do more with those!

If you need any help with drinks and such too, let me know. I'm sure Diluc would be happy to help.

Oh, I didn't even think of drinks...! Not sure why, I must have just immediately thought that I would be doing them.

Would he mind? I don't want to impose.

[hearthwarming]

That would be ridiculous, Tifa! You can't possibly be in charge of drinks at your own wedding.

Leave it to Diluc and I! We'll come up with drinks. I'm sure some of the townsfolk would be more than happy to help with that on the day of, too.

It might be a bit selfish of me, but I want to make sure Diluc can relax during the reception, too...

If you need help coming up with some ideas, let me know!

And that's not selfish at all. I can hire a bartender to host the reception if we have a menu put together. You two deserve to spend that time together.
