Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.



OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

Look, I know you dropped by the smithy earlier and I just wanted to complete your order before it was too late, Tifa.

Really!? I mean, that would be lovely, but... a gift? That feels like a lot, doesn't it?

That just means it's all the more important. I thought it might be a good present because you'd want to be able to protect your loved ones.

Well, that's what I think anyway.

I know that money isn't exactly a thing here, but I was planning to pay for it in some way.

[He has a business to run, after all! She's going to cry though, this is so thoughtful!]

But I get it. Nothing's changed from before, but I do want to protect them as best I can. Is there anything I can at least give you in return?

Oh I know! How about this? When I get married to Shionne I want you to show up.

She'll be by my side again someday. You promised me that with the flower you gave me. You remember that, don't you?

So we'll have more weddings and they'll be more happiness to come!

I do remember.

That sounds like a deal to me. Do you have any ideas for what kind of wedding you two might like?

I don't know yet. It's still a ways off and I think I'd need to sort some things out first.

When I figure things out with that I'll be sure to call you. You're still taking those right? You seem busy enough as it is.

Calls? For what, wedding tips?

You bet! I hear from Law he already attended my wedding back at home but I don't seem to remember any of it.

That's troubling me more than it should. So I want to do it properly when I have a better time for it.

Oh, you're already married back home? I had no idea!

[But from the sounds of it, neither did Alphen.]

I hope Law at least told you it was a beautiful ceremony.

That's what it looks like. I only remember boarding an airship and then trying to make things right.

Nothing about a wedding. It's given me something to look forward to! I know if we just believe everything will turn out fine.

It's important to have hope.

True. You know the day is coming up for you, so you'll always have that to look forward to, no matter what world you're in.

For now, I'm expecting to see you at both the ceremony and reception. And you'll be able to tell Shionne all about it when she comes back.

That'd be nice to think about! I'm planning on delivering Eustace the weapons later.

If there's anything else you need for it just let me know.

Nope, just for you to show up to the wedding on the day of. Can't wait to see what you've got in store with the weapons, though. I'll give it a whirl as soon as I can.

Hey, are you interested in swords too?

While I have some experience with them, I prefer the dagger.

Though I suppose I could use a spare. I've been using the one that's been with me since the beginning.

It's on the house. I'll make a special order just this one time to mark the special occasion.

Would a short sword be fine? It's not exactly a dagger but it can be used in different ways depending on your combat style.

It would depend... I already have a sheathe for my dagger, but it is on the longer side. What would be the measurements?

It'll be up to you. It's no good if the owner of the blade can't even use it. So I should make it customized to your liking.

Just tell me the specifics and I'll try my best to make it happen. I feel like I've learned quite a bit of blade forging over these past few months.

You can just drop in during the afternoons. If I'm not in Somnus is usually around.
