Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.

OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

Well, well. Congratulations! Looking forward to meeting this guy.

[She's a little nervous about it, if she's being completely honest. Even though Eustace is sitting right next to her.]

I bet you two will get along great, though.

You think so, eh? I guess I do get along with just about everyone. Never met anyone here that I haven't. Besides, if you picked him, he's probably a swell guy.

[Tifa has good taste. He trusts in that. Doesn't matter what Eustace is like. If Tifa likes him and he makes her happy, treats her well, supports her in the ways she needs, that's all that matters.]

I like to think so too.

[But reading that coming from Nier means way more than she could say over a journal, so she'll have to remember to tell him that the next time they see each other.]

So, have you picked out an outfit yet?

I thought were were letting Kainé pick something out for me? I wouldn't trust me to pick something to wear. But I agreed not to wear what I'm usually in. That still holds.

Don't worry. I'm not gonna embarrass you.

[No leather wear at the wedding.]

And? Has she? You two don't have a whole lot of time left to shop!

Uh. I haven’t asked, honestly. Guess I better get on that. How much time do we have?

Right up until the wedding day. So plenty of time. If I can get my dress done in that frame, then I'm sure you two will be able to get something put together.

You're still going to match, right? Something with a touch of light blue would be perfect.

Okay. Yeah, we’ve got it handled. We’ll make sure that we match. I’ll have Kainé double check the shade of blue. I want it to match whatever it is you’re gonna wear.

[And honestly, Kainé will want the same thing, he’s sure.]

[Yes, go spend more time with your wifey.]

As long as you don't show up in a white dress, you'll be fine.

Although I bet you'd kill it in white.

I think I remember something about that. Reading it, anyway. [Traditions and what not.] Here I was thinking I look best in black, but just for you, maybe I’ll wear a white dress at some point. Not for the wedding, obviously.

[And that might sound like kidding, but he… really has no preconceptions about what anyone should wear. If they’re comfortable, that’s all that matters. And a loose fitting dress? Sounds kind of comfortable to him.]

[Honestly? Tifa thinks a loose fitting dress is the best thing to wear out and about, or even around the house so he isn't totally wrong.]

Well, I wouldn't say no! But you better make sure I'm around to see it. For now, I agree. Black really suits you. I think a dark shade of blue might look nice too.

It's a promise.

Maybe Kainé will pick out something in dark blue for me. Could be a nice contrast to whatever she'll be wearing. She looks real nice in lighter blues. Doesn't have to be pastel. Maybe something with a little grey mixed in, too.

[That is, Nier's fond of her normal attire, though he understands several people double take a touch.]

See? I think you have more of an eye for these things than you give credit for. I agree with all of this, so you should definitely try out some combinations of it. She'll be in light blue, so it all works out.

Easier to dress someone else than to dress myself, I guess. We’ll figure it out, Tifa. If you need to see it beforehand, we can arrange that, too. But I’m pretty sure we’ll have it pieced together.

I as well. Nier, is it? I can tell she thinks highly of you.

[Does he have to leave a favorable impression?? Is this the father figure he has to impress??]

That's right. I think just as highly of her.

[Yes and yes. This is your future not!dad-kind-of-dad.]

She's got good taste. She wouldn't pick anyone less than wonderful.

[Well this one is a flatterer.]

I only hope to give her the best life possible. Though whatever you've heard is likely an exaggeration.

[Is he being modest? Maybe.]

I didn't ask anything prying if that's what you're gettin at. I just want her to be happy and she seems pretty damn happy with you. That's good enough for me.

[So he expects Eustace to be a Good Man.]

You seem to care a lot for her...and you're walking her down the aisle, correct?

I do. [No sense in hiding it.] And yeah. That's what she asked of me.

I hope you won't give me a hard time giving her to me then.

[A small joke of course, with the slight allusion of acknowledging Nier as a father figure for her.]

[Eustace can’t see him, of course, but he’s grinning.]

Somehow, I think I’ll manage. I could probably throw a bunch of threats at you, but that’s not my style either. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing to get this far.

I will, I give you my word.

[Again kind of playing along, but...he's also serious about that.]
