Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.

OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

[That is a bit of a surprise.]

Why's that?

I have already told Eustace this, but I do not mind telling you as well. I am taking the joys of you both rather seriously. It is my fondest wish that you two are happy. As such, the things important to either of you are also important to me. It is no more simple than that, Tifa.

[Please get married, so she can see the two of you in wedded, married bliss.]

[Beatrix is sweeter than she gives herself credit for, and Tifa might have actually teared up a little reading her response.]

I guess that is pretty simple, huh? That's really what we all can ask for in a place like this. I'm just glad that you're going to be part of it.

We've known each other for a while now, you know? And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm trying to remember how we met.

[Now she's feeling nostalgic. Thanks, Bea.]

[It is as equally kind to be met with similar thoughts. Beatrix isn't fond of being sentimental. It's not that she can't be. It's that she's always felt she's needed to be a certain way. Old habits die hard and nothing about her has ever changed easily. But when she's in the company of those she cares for, she can feel something that seems to be more than the obligation she has been so tied up with.]

It was a dollhouse. A cursed one. We went through it together. There were doors with latches. A room with those multicoloured balls. I remember it all very vividly. I disliked it and I was annoyed and all I wanted was to go back to Alexandria.

And I found in you someone I was surprised I could rely on, because that was not something I had back home. Even if it was only in battle, I appreciated that you were capable.

Ah, I remember now! And that giant stairwell that turned into a slide...

[It's all coming back to her... Although she wonders if a part of her had tried to push memories of that night out of her head.]

That was over a year ago now, wasn't it?

It was quite some time ago, yes.

[She suspects that her memory is so good mostly because she has wished for it to be. Every relationship she has carefully cultivated here has been a very important one. Very much responsible for why she carries herself as she does now. She may not always be pleasant or welcoming, but when she truly desires to touch the hearts of those around her, she will do so.]

Does not feel that way, sometimes. A bit surreal, that.

This place has become something of another home for a lot of us. It's nice to see.

[As much as she misses home, this place turned out to be not so bad in the end.]

But it is, isn't it? It's easy to forget that it's been that long. Having all these people responding... I didn't realize that I'd met so many.

[...Has it, then. Another home. Yes. Perhaps. Beatrix doesn't really like thinking about it like that, but... it's. True. ...Right?

She's grateful Tifa can't see how uncertain she looks, or how many thoughts flutter into her mind over the concept.]

It is not so much the number, but the quality of that support. Although I will say that from observation, it is both ample in supply and impeccable in quality.

I have no doubt that these connections formed simply by the virtue of you being yourself. I cannot imagine anyone who would not be charmed by you on some level. Or endeared to.

[Beatrix, you're making her blush!!!]

That's sweet of you to say. I can only hope that I've helped people and touched them the same way they did for me.

To be honest, I never imagined I'd end up with this much support. It's a little overwhelming, all these people... but it's nice. A little new, but not a bad thing.

I have no doubt that the same support you are getting here is a reflection of what you have given others. We are all bound together by adversity and our experiences. It is a very human thing, that we console ourselves through the companionship of others and those we hold dear.

I imagine for someone who is not so fond of attention, and you seem to enjoy being more a silhouette, that the amount of attention this will merit the two of you will be something to gradually grow accustomed to. It pleases me to know that you have so many who would offer such a foundation.

You and Eustace deserve that. I hope you both will remember such, even in the moments when it is most difficult to do so.

We'll try to. Honestly? I feel like Eustace might be doing better with it than I am, which I'm sure is a little surprising. He's taken to it pretty well.

Has he? I am nearly surprised to make such a discovery. In part, anyway. Eustace oft seems well-composed and it may very well be that he is portraying such for your benefit. If both of you had issue with the attention, then it is more likely that this affair of yours would have been far more quiet and secretive.

I think we both thought that we wouldn't get this much! Not that it's a bad thing. We want to make sure that everyone who would like to come and celebrate can, and feels welcome to!

I think you both have done that in spades. With invitations out of the way, the rest of the planning can come proper. And you both have quite a few of us to assist with that.
