Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.

OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

[UuUuuUuUugh this is why he almost kept his mouth shut but it would have been weirder if he had just stopped halfway, especially with Beat. Normally he wouldn't care as much, but it's like being teased by a younger brother which is somehow more annoying. In any case he just lightly clears his throat and will move on...

...To soften his own expression at Beat's words. He really would do anything for Tifa, whatever it would take to keep her smiling. He's put her through so much...losing whatever pride or dignity, or trying things he normally would avoid or just not care about is a small price to pay for it. And, well, he actually enjoys it a bit, so it works out.]

I hope to keep it that way.

[There will be more trying times to be sure...but let's avoid another Nocstace episode. But how did it get to him this started about Beat—]

Now about your suit.

You better. Looks like there's helluva lotta people who's gonna go after your ass if you don't.

[Don't think he hasn't read through some of the replies to the invitation. If anything, there was a bit of worry considering what they had to go through before with the noctaere. As long they could stop things from escalating to that scale, things should be manageable, at the very least. But we'll cross that bridge if we ever get there.

He was serious about not wanting to mess things up for Eustace and Tifa on their big day, so he stops with the teasing in the meantime.]

Yeah, that. I prob'ly need to get one this week.

[There's just the slightest quirk of the lips at Beat's remark about that long line. But it won't exist.

[A pointed look.]

If they have to tailor it it could take some time.

[That look will lose effect before you know it, Eustace.]

[That comment about stopping the teasing? An absolute lie.]

You still plannin' to hold my hand and everything too?

Do you really think you can choose a suit, tie, and proper shirt on your own? You'll also likely need new shoes as well.

[If he was honest to himself, he knew he wouldn't be able to. Even back home, he had people to rely on for this kind of thing. So for a minute, he holds Eustace's gaze before letting out a mock sigh.]

Fine, I guess I can let ya tag along.

[Better.

I won't be free until late afternoon.

Ain't got no issue with that.

[Because that just means he can sleep in!]

You got some other stuff to do?

Meeting with Trahearne and Phantom, separately.

Packed sched, huh? Can't blame ya. I can meet ya at your place after I walk the dogs.

[He takes another look around...

I'll get out of your hair then.

[Oh, he sees that look. Beat doesn't even hide his eye roll. Just in case, he then begins pushing Eustace towards the door.]

I'mma see ya tomorrow, Wolfie.

[And once Eustace is outside, he closes the door, locks it, and puts his entire weight against it... Huh, the place does look a little better now.]

[He'll allow himself to be pushed out, and when he hears the door lock behind him, there will be a snort and small chuckle of laughter just loud enough for Beat to likely hear before he steps away to return home.

[Beat does hear the laugh before the footsteps fade away. And though he himself scoffs on his side of the door, another thought crosses his mind.]

Almost forgot that Wolfie does know how to laugh, too.
