1st Entry - Book of Dreams

Greetings.

I am Angela, a new arrival to this dream realm. While I have been informed of many of this place's unique properties, there are still several mysteries that I would like to delve into.

To that end, I would like to begin with a question: have you ever seen a place like this in your dreams before your arrival?

I also have another question, this one more out of personal interest: what is it that you normally dream about? I have never had a dream before, you see, and I'm curious as to how this may differ from the norm.

I'll need some elaboration on that.

I guess it's kind of confusing to put into words, but... the easiest way I can say it is, we were forged a long time ago and then one day, even as a sword, we sort of gained a sort of consciousness. We had a master. Who used us like any human would a sword they were proud of. Then in more recent years, given a human form by a new master who wished to seek our help?

I guess in a way this probably sounds like a dream too, huh?

To some degree, but it's not entirely unheard of.

[Even if what she has heard of is technically a manifestation of the human subconscious.]

And given current circumstances, I suppose it wouldn't do any good to dismiss others' stories out of hand, no matter how fantastical they may seem.
