I thought I saw tracks a while ago and I was right! Guys, there are chocobos here!

Be back in a bit, I'm going to get some greens!

Now, you wanna talk chocobo again? Or, you could tell me how wonderful your guy is.

I wanted to talk about this stupid chocobo in the first place.

Yup, and what did you wanna know about it?

What are you even going to do with it?

Ride around on it? Hunt treasure with it? Beats just walking everywhere or hoping magic works out some days.

What makes you think that there's any treasure here to even hunt?

What makes you think there's not any treasure to hunt when we haven't even looked?

That would imply that people here had time to bury their stuff. Or that people haven't resided here in such a long time that the world buried their stuff.

Hey, the way the tapirs put it, sounds like this world was once occupied. I'm sure we'll dig up something.

Well obviously it had been occupied at some point. There are too many constructs and structures here to really think otherwise.

I'm talking about whatever caused them to die off. Or leave.
