Hello everyone! I've only been here a few weeks, but I wanted to introduce myself to anyone who might be curious. I know I saw some faces and I don't think I always gave my name. It's been crazy.

My name is Sorey. ...what else usually goes in an introduction? I'm seventeen, I like the outdoors, and I really love exploring ruins. I love history and anthropology. My favorite colors are orange and blue. I really love sweets. There!

If anyone has the time, could I get some help with some of my questions below?

Have you experienced, or are you familiar with, the connection between a body and a soul, or between two or more souls/spirits?

And the next one is a bunch all together!

Do you have anyone here from the same world as you? How do you know each other? Did you know each other back home? Are there any time differences or issues (like someone saying they're from five years after the last thing you remember)?

Hello again, Sorey. I hope you're settling in well.

When I arrived here, most of my friends were already in this world. Some have disappeared since, unfortunately, but while they were here it was obvious we'd all come from different parts of our journey. I think I might have been the furthest behind. It was a difference of no longer than a few months, though, far as I could tell.

A body and soul connecting sounds like a basic ingredient of life for me! Sure, there's room for debate when it comes to witches, but I like to think I have some kind of soul kicking around under this lovely skin! And what's this about multiple souls or spirits? I have to see, keeping up with my own is trouble enough! Why would I want more to feel really tethered by?

Of course! I'm joined here by several merry members of Magilou's Menagerie! The answer as to how we know each other should be obvious. We broke out of prison together, duh! There's more issues than an entire book series, but time differences? Who can say? Time flies when you're making fun!

I also happen to enjoy exploring. I've been travelling for as long as I remember.

As for your questions, I can give you an answer to the second one. I have many friends here, who are from the same world as me, but the time difference between us exist. Some of them seem to remember events that I have never witnessed. Moreover, some friends who used to be here remembered certain events different than what I remembered.

First question, when you mean spirits, you mean like ghosts? Cause back home we have a ghost butler.

Well, I say "we", but he really only works for my uncle. Undying loyalty and all that. Literally.

As for the second, there's no one from my world here, but I have met people who have met my brother. Yet he's never mentioned them, and trust me, he sucks at keeping secrets. There's magic involved, I'm guessing, and magic always messes stuff up.

Let me see if I can answer all of your questions.

1. I believe my answer is yes to both. Ghosts and spirits of the deceased exist in Hyrule. (I hear that ghosts are only myths in other worlds.) In regards to a connection between souls, there are legends in Hyrule of individuals bound together by fate, who were reborn together repeatedly over generations. Is this the sort of thing you are asking about?

2. Yes. My personal knight, Link, is also here in Songerein.

3. As above. Link is my assigned knight and dear friend.

4. Again, as above.

5. Yes. Somehow, Link is from fifty or sixty years ahead of me. He has memories of things like speaking with me that I have not experienced yet.

Okay! Gosh- so you're from Link's world! He met me, during the whole- did you ever end up in one of those storybooks? Link helped me out in one of them, he's incredible with that bow.

To your questions: do you mean from our own worlds, or this one? I'm very familiar with such a connection. In my world it's possible to separate the two entirely, and two souls sharing a single vessel can be achieved if they have a certain compatibility. The same could be said of a spirit, though I'm less acquainted with that myself.

[And the second question is even more loaded, if anything... Maybe one thing at a time.]

I guess it's one in the same? I am asking to try and understand more about how our souls or dream-selves I guess, are tethered to our bodies back home, but also a general question to gauge the understanding people here might have of the phenomenon. I think if we could pool our collective knowledge, we might understand this place and how we exist here a little better.

I've definitely met Magilou, but I haven't met anyone named Velvet yet. I didn't know Magilou was a friend of yours.

I am afraid I have little to contribute in terms of spiritual matters.

However, I have experience with meeting several of my acquaintances here. Nearly all of them have experienced the same events I am familiar with, but there is one notable exception. Although to my knowledge he only lacks memory of approximately a week from my perspective, the information revealed during that time was more than significant to both of our lives.

Although a small number of those I am familiar with have left, all of us were involved in a singular incident and the consequences thereof.

May I ask in return, what is your interest in such queries?

There's a group of people who want to find a way to stay here forever, and I'm trying to help them. Part of figuring that out is trying to determine how our selves here are connected to the ones back home. I'm hoping there's some clues present from back home that could help with that, but the only people who would know are friends from our worlds who might be from further along.
