Wait, Kansai? I know Kansai. It's 4 hours away from Tokyo by train. I don't remember anything that wild happening there, though.

Kinda, yeah. Not all humans can be jujutsu sorcerers, and jujutsu sorcerers aren't exactly a dime a dozen, so small classes are the norm. My underclassman was actually the only one in his class before our sensei found two more people to join him.

It's fine, he's tough and can handle it. Plus he can dish it out as much as he can take it, so it's okay. Plus he's not really a real panda, even if he looks like one.

Oh, man, I didn't even think of that. You're right, computer graphics are pretty wild these days. Now that you mention it, I wonder if someone actually made a movie that had that happen in it.

Yes quite so. Marriages between Europeans from different countries are very common place in my world so it is inevitable that I have relatives in various countries.

(When you have a maternal great grandmother whose descendants married to other European royal and noble houses, the amount of extended family members can be very, very vast.)

Oh, you do jujutsu at home? I never heard of it before. Can you describe to me what it is like to practice it?

I think creating a whole city was the largest project I've made to date. The city of known as the Index in the Realm of Stories. That place was constantly changing, so I often have to remove set pieces and make new ones. As for the craziest, probably creating a miniature Crystal Tower from the World's Fair back home. Took some time to figure out a material that can imitate glass.

So just how many people attend your school exactly? Do you know?

I'm not surprised. Jujutsu's a type of sorcery used to purify cursed spirits. So you could think of it as a kind of exorcism technique.

That's that world you were in before, right? Shit, I don't even know how you'd have the patience to build a model of the whole city like that. Are you doing the same with this place, too? And I don't know what a Crystal Tower is, but just by the sounds of it, it sounds pretty cool. You must be pretty patient.

There's seven of us total at the Tokyo branch; four second-years including me, and three first-years. There used to be a couple third-years, but they got suspended or something. The Kyoto branch also has seven students: one first-year, three second-years, and three third-years. So fourteen students spread across two schools.

Actually he preferred to wear tabi. The white ones to be more specific. Though when he went out on patrol he had to wear the black ones. It was part of the uniform after all.

I think... those are undergarments, right? If so, most men back in that time wore fundoshi, though with kimonos, it was sometimes easier not to wear them at all. Okita Souji-kun was a little more proper than other samurai though so he definitely wore a fundoshi.
