Hey, I'm Shirou. I've been wondering this for a while now but is there some kind of dojo or archery range around here? I train with martial arts and I know it's important to have the proper equipment.

[He misses having a dojo in his home. ]

Training helps me keep my focus and well it looks like a lot of people here could use it too.

I don't want to stop moving just because I'm not at home anymore. I think it's nice to go out for a jog early in the morning.  Maybe you have some kind of interesting work out routine. I'd like to hear about it.

I can advise you a little in the way of the sword, but not as much, for my specialty is in daggers and rapiers.

I have the advantage of speed against a lance-wielding opponent, but I doubt it can be passed to you. A better approach may be to outrange him with a bow.

Just how fast are you anyway? I don't think you're just a normal guy.

Is Phantom here?

[ The receptionist asks Shirou to wait, and Phantom appears from the staircase a minute later. He's dressed more casually this time, though 'casually' still means a collared shirt and a jacket for him. ]

Good evening. [ He greets the youth and observes his physical condition. ] How are you?

I'm doing alright, yeah. I had some guests come over earlier and I got busy with some things.

Just trying to keep myself going I guess. So you're really an assassin?

[ He looks at Phantom again. Hard to believe he's some kind of crazy fast entity. ]

[removal]

[ No injuries so far... good.

Phantom places a finger to his lips and glances around. No one seems to have heard them yet. ]

Let us discuss this upstairs, shall we?

[ Not out of shyness, but rather, he would prefer it to remain on a need-to-know basis. Once they're in an empty practice hall, he closes the door behind them so that they would not be disturbed. ]

I am, indeed, an assassin, though I have not killed anyone here, if you were curious.

Okay, we can go upstairs. By the way where is Miss Christine?

Is she around here?

[ He remembers seeing the cat a few times. Where could she be? ]

She is occupied at the moment, but she may grace you with her presence later.

[ Miss Christine comes and goes as she pleases. Phantom has no control over her, nor does he desire to. He makes a subtle motion with his arm and his knives appear in his hands. ]

I am accustomed to wielding a pair of daggers, their length is tailored to my grip. They are much more subtle than a sword.

I thought she might appreciate this kitty ball I brought. Does she play with yarn?

[ He doesn't even know if Miss Christine is like a normal cat so Shirou feels silly. ]

With a dagger you might be able to throw it too. It's useful for more than just stabbing.

You may present it to her when she arrives.

[ Miss Christine will probably show up soon. She has a way of knowing things... or at least, knowing things that Phantom knows. ]

Yes, I can use it as a ranged weapon as well, though I prefer to not let go of my physical blades. It is possible to fashion a throwing dagger using Originium Arts, or with the dreamotion available here.

Originum Arts is something that's only in your world, right?

I didn't think just anyone can use Originum Arts.

[ He'll keep the ball of yarn for later. ]

That is correct. Arts are exclusive to Terrans, as far as I am aware, but the effect can be replicated with dreamotion. The potential of dreamotion energy is not to be underestimated.

[ He focuses his awareness, and a replica of his dagger appears floating next to him, made out of nightmare energy. ]

I get it. So what you're saying is that we can make something similiar but not quite the same.

[ That's easy enough for him to understand. ]

[ Phantom pauses. He has to explain his alternative alignment to Shirou... hmm. ]

The method of manifesting dreamotion varies depending on the individual. Mine takes a rather dark form, I hope that you are not disturbed by it.

[ He summons another dagger in his unoccupied hand. It looks identical to his physical dagger, save for its clearly nightmarish colouring. ]
