lost kitten?

[The handwriting of the post is surprisingly elegant, and before there's anything written from him there is a rather good sketch of a small, black, winged kitten.]

Did anyone lose this? They've been following me around most of the day now and I haven't seen any lost pet signs.

[It doesn't belong to anyone else, Wanderer just has a new little dreamotion buddy that will properly express emotions.

And demand pets, but mostly the first one.]

That's the thing about cats, you don't get to ask for it. If they choose you, that's it, it's yours. I don't make the rules, I just follow 'em. You might as well invest in some cat food and a scratching post.

Scratching post. You know, a tall post cats can use to scratch and sharpen their claws on.
fishflakes: (No objections here)

I guess you could make one with a tree branch sure. As long as it’s standing up like this

[And then he proceeds to draw a simple little doodle of a cat scratching post]
fishflakes: (Are you ok?)

To make a scratching post? Probably a stick of wood and some sort of rough, thick fabric. So they can scratch without messing up their paws.

Sure, but I dunno how good it is for cats to scratch on bare wood. They could get splinters in their paws.
fishflakes: (Everything good?)

Fair point. Still, if he's your new pet, you wanna give him all the best stuff right?
