ehh current apartment is in pride ring but its not the worst, Sinners are kinda interesting and make good clients. even if rent is fucking expensive bc Sinners are all over the damn place the pay is good enough to keep the office open and super fuckin stocked
Greed sucks shit but Lust ring and Wrath ring rule
Hell's got lotsa layers and I haven't been to all of them but shit serves its purpose to organize stuff for bigwig demon royalty and whatever war-on-heaven bullshit they deal with. Pride ring gets the angels visiting once a year to purge a shit ton of sinners but imps like me can just slide down a level and wait it out.
[Swears. More swears. Ugh. Edgy tryhard wannabee. But if this imp is so obsessed with this image, then fine. Flowey won't call him pathetic. For now. He has info to gather and it's new and interesting!]
So you're at war with heaven? Us monsters didn't really have or follow any sort of religion, but we did have a good number of prophecies.
Like the one with the Angel, aka the one that had seen the surface. It said that when the angel returns, the Underground will go empty.
That was one interpretation of the prophecy. The other was that the angel would break the barrier keeping everyone trapped in Mt. Ebott and allow them all to travel to the surface.
But yes, I had gone on a complete killing spree of all the monsters multiple times before going back to an earlier SAVE point. And yes, it did get boring after having done everything I could have done in the Underground.
Okay, so I had been injected with a lot of determination. So much so, that I can basically set different points in time to travel back to. Somewhere along the way of my existence, I
[Hmm, how best to describe this...?]
I had been SAVING and LOADING and RESETTING for so long, that I managed to memorize entire people. And I mean what they say, how they'd act. I started treating everything as a video game. I started seeing everyone else as just NPCs. They might as well have been given that I could predict and dictate how I wanted my runs to go down to the most miniscule detail.
And as I've said before, I eventually grew bored of doing that, so I had decided to become a passive observer to everything. That was before events happened that allowed me to break the magic barrier and free everyone.
The only way going through the barrier was possible was if you had a monster SOUL and a human SOUL inside your body at the same time. And the only way to break the barrier was to have the power of seven human SOULs in you, or its equivalence.
But if you're so interested in the lore...
[Flowey goes on to write information about the monster that made the prophecy, when they made it, where they made it, and how many others felt about the prophecy, listing each individual by name.]

The prophecy became true because I made it come true. I broke the barrier and the underground became empty once all the monsters moved to the surface.
See, this is why you need more puzzles in your life. It keeps your brain sharp. I own a puzzle shop, why not come over?
