I was wondering...

There are so many people here from a lot of different places, aren't there? Are there any holidays that are important to others? Or - maybe even just dates that are precious for any reason!

I thought it would be fun to share. And... maybe even celebrate those special days here. At least-- it could help us feel a little closer to home...

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Alastor! It isn't Saturday yet! You're spoiling us!"

Indeed I am, dear listeners, for I was approached by a very lovely lady who wanted to help get us all in the winter holiday spirit regardless of what specific winter holiday you in particular celebrate! I was so touched by her offer and enthusiasm that I saw no reason to deny her!

With all that out of the lady, do sit back and enjoy the performance of a lady who requires no introduction as she serenades us all!

Greetings. My apologies if this is not how things are done here, as this sort of magic is unfamiliar to me.

I am one of your new arrivals to this world. I was given the standard "welcome", I suppose, but I find that valuable information comes more from the mouths of those who live and experience day to day life here than some strange entities. For example, my world did not have that odd holiday that was called "Halloween", and as a result, I attacked those who were merely pretending. Obviously, I wouldn't want such a thing to happen again.

I'm afraid right now I cannot give much in exchange for whatever information you wish to share. But during my stay here, I will do all that I can to protect the people from the real monsters and dangers here.

Fall's kinda pretty. The stuff here's kinda like the way it goes back home. The food kicks ass tho, that's the best part.

Anyway, my dog Maple is feelin kinda lonely and I was told to try doin somethin healthy for this "depression" shit. So I'm going for walks in the Wildlands and Maple gets exercise, right, but I don't see other people out doin this kinda stuff, or they do it way later than I do. I do it in the morning.

If you have a dog, Maple wants to meet em. If you dont have a dog, Maple wants to meet you. Dreamotion lets me talk to dogs, so its not like a speech barrier or whatever, so it'll work out.

Anyway, if it sounds like something you wanna do, hit me up.

Oh- does Halloween stuff happen here? I don't need to shop for a costume, but free candy to stuff into a drawer at home for late night snacking would be pretty fuckin sick.

Subject: One Year Anniversary

Good evening everyone.

I haven't written in my journal for quite sometime. However tonight I'm feeling rather semimetal. It accord to me that this month marks my one year anniversary since being spirited away to this place. I can hardly believe I've been away for so long. I remember when I first arrived how badly I wanted to return. But now I... find myself wanting to stay. During my time here I have met so many wonderful new people, new friends', made beautiful memories that I fear I will lose when I eventually am forced to return.

I did return. Briefly.

Such an odd feeling. Waking up here as if my true home was the dreamworld. I am grateful that my memories of this place did not fade during my little vacation back to Hell. Which brings me to my query. Has anyone else experienced this? I am curious on how memories are stored while we're here. Perhaps there might be a way to retrain them once we leave.

Or, that is the hope at least.

[Admittedly, Thursday is an odd day to decide to start this on but after recovering from all that work in the reactor, Alastor is a bundle of energy and can't wait any longer.]

[Anyone who picked up a radio after Alastor's announcement last month will have their radio crackle to life at 8 AM on the nose with jazzy music and Alastor singing.]

I'm pleased to announce that Reverein's own radio facilities are now officially open! But as I always say, where's the fun in a radio with only one channel? Or one performer for that matter? Reverein is starting to get quite large, after all!

I'll be broadcasting on this frequency with news, interviews, music, and so on. Whew. Past few weeks were rough. Even as someone who loves a good fight, there were a lot of fights. Lot of emotionally trying stuff, too. Even I'm beat. So, everyone at DMC: IMP's gonna be on leave for a while. Probably a week or so. Long enough to sleep off all of uhh. That.

Since it's been a while since I used this, DMC: IMP's a group of us demons and non-demons who're damn good at fighting monsters and noctaere. Would be a business if money existed, but last time it did, it was a big mistake. Joint effort between Devil May Cry, the Immediate Murder Professionals and anyone who hangs out at the office long enough. You can drop by if you want; it's the building with a bunch of holes, missing doors and tarp over a torn off rooftop.

Oh right, we gotta rebuild it again. Maybe two or three weeks. We'll figure that out.

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!
