...Featherman. If you don't know Featherman, you're really missing out (just ask me to hook you up, I got 'em all here with me, heh heh（　´∀｀）). I guess it could just be super sentai if you DON'T know Featherman.

I'll go first, but I mean, everyone wants to be cool Red... myself included. Strong! Cool! Leader! Never lets his team fall to despair! Everyone wants to be that! I do enjoy Yellow Owl since man, CURRY. How could I not?

They all have their own powers and special mechas! Usually any of the special ones like White or Green or whatever are usually super powerful! In a different show the Green one was an enemy brainwashed by the bad guys before he was purified and joined the good side. His mecha wasn't part of the combined one of the OG team, but it was able to beat up the monster of the day for the team to get the final blow on 'em.

Heck yeah! They always have a cool mecha too! Man the new Blue Swan was really cool, definitely a good one to me. There's no wrong answer here, all Featherman versions are good.

I wouldn't say all of them. Haven't you seen some of the spin offs they did? They weren't even made by the people behind the shows!

Some of them have their charms... but they don't feel like TRUE Featherman. Just a cheap knockoff that wishes it could be what Featherman is, or just... another sentai show. ANY show can be a sentai show, but nothing can be Featherman except Featherman!

... I always found the narrative arc of Condor very compelling. Did not care for Neo or Victory.

What? I watched them. I didn't like them. FFS, Neo was just unfathomably boring. The villains were uninteresting, the acting was bland, and mid-2000s CGI did not age well. As for Victory- at what point do you realize that enough is enough? Featherman was a perfect example of the genre, it's just a soulless attempt to capitalize on the nostalgia of people who grew up with the original.

And it still doesn't use practical effects. The production values might have increased, but it all has this stink of insincerity about it that I can't stand.

My mWe found an old VCR and a box of cassette tapes from the eighties and nineties when one of the neighbors was throwing them out. It turned out the box had most of the original series in it. We didn't have network television, so that's... just what I watched, when I was little. It's nothing to do with being a hipster.
