Subject: Successful Use of Baubles to Return Home
For those who may not have noticed, recently the baubles used for the Wishing can be used to return to our home worlds and still be able to return. It was a risk, but given the prospect of this for the ongoing research of staying in this world permanently, I tried it myself.
It works.
I departed on the first of the month and according to Tifa, returned after three days here. As before, the time passed in my world was several months and as expected, I still did not retain any memories of my time in Songerein while in my world.
I had the researchers at the Observatory study the dreamotion energy during this process to see if they can learn more about our connection between this world and our world. If there are any who wish to try or plan to return to their home world through the use of the baubles, I would like to request if they could study your trip as well.
It does appear that the more common "random connections" is still occurring. Regardless, I hope this message eases some concerns others might have in wanting to temporarily revisit their world on their own will.

[More than enough if he needs them for other purposes, and they seem to get them regularly enough so he can always get more later. And since he very clearly knows how much Mei missed home, he has no qualms in helping her if he can.]
But the project I was referring to was the one to stay in this world permanently. This seemed it could be relevant and provide necessary data to further our endeavors.

It's nothing worth that much praise, Mei, anyone could have tried this.

All right, I understand.
[He'll accept it for now.
And then after a pause another line will appear.]
How are you feeling?

[A small pause as he tries to figure out how to continue.]
We may not be suitable replacements for those back home, but there are many here who care a lot about you. So do not hesitate to come to us if you're feeling lonely again. I myself may not be the best, but you're always welcome to the café, even if it's just to play with the animals.

It's silly, I know, but I need to work on it.

I don't normally speak about my problems to others, either.
[Granted his reasons are less about being a burden and just, you know, being closed off and reticent— But it still caused some problems so it still applies.]

[He can't help but smile a little behind the pages.]
But even that can be even more difficult as we don't want to burden each other with our problems.

[See what he did there.]

[ It's reassuring, in a very weird way. ]

Glad you understand. But I also know it can be difficult.

[LONG PAUSE.]
Just don't expect another song from me.
[HE HALF CONSIDERED but no. He'd rather not—]

[ BUT WHY WASN'T IT RECORDED WHYYYYY ]

As you should.
[IT WAS VERY RARE.]
