Subject: Successful Use of Baubles to Return Home

For those who may not have noticed, recently the baubles used for the Wishing can be used to return to our home worlds and still be able to return. It was a risk, but given the prospect of this for the ongoing research of staying in this world permanently, I tried it myself.

It works.

I departed on the first of the month and according to Tifa, returned after three days here. As before, the time passed in my world was several months and as expected, I still did not retain any memories of my time in Songerein while in my world.

I had the researchers at the Observatory study the dreamotion energy during this process to see if they can learn more about our connection between this world and our world. If there are any who wish to try or plan to return to their home world through the use of the baubles, I would like to request if they could study your trip as well.

It does appear that the more common "random connections" is still occurring. Regardless, I hope this message eases some concerns others might have in wanting to temporarily revisit their world on their own will.

Is it embarrassing to admit that I haven't fully figured that out yet? Besides no longer living up to their expectations.

Maybe I'll find a way to just leave my country and live a simple life elsewhere. It's what I'm already doing here.

Not at all. From the sounds of it it was a sudden change, so it's not too surprising that you haven't found something.

And perhaps that's one way, but it's always hard to say what opportunities or circumstances may give. That's never been made more clear to me than seeing my life here compared to home.

I'd like to think that I'm adaptable, more so than people may initially think. Truthfully, I tend to make plans along the way and just hope they aren't completely crushed at the end.

Maybe I'll be just as lucky as you are in this life here. Lady Tifa is doing well, I presume?

Yes, she is. She's been working hard with the café and so far it's been successful.

I'm not sure if you were able to visit it before you left.

I don't believe I did.

Just don't mind the animals... Speaking of, do you still have your horse?

[At least Eustace doesn't get to see Hans making a slight face at the mention of animals. Really, are there dogs and cats running around while people are trying to eat?]

Sitron? I'm afraid not. When I'm presented with the opportunity, I plan on retrieving my loyal friend. It's not quite the same without him. I hear that some people prefer him over me!

I never imagined my friends to greet me in such a manner. I may have to drink away my woes at your wife's new café now.

We have a number of people so far, though no one new since the initial proposal. I should probably ask again as there's been some headway in the research.

That's quite encouraging to hear.

Maybe we'll get even more volunteers to try anything that might be potentially dangerous.

I would rather we didn't need to resort to such a situation, but I cannot deny that such help may be needed.

He honestly can't even refute it because he had this discussion with someone who had been willing to do exactly that. And really, it's true. There's no way to really test anything without volunteers, including themselves. ]

Even so, I'd rather not reach a solution at the cost of someone else.

[Which is why he did this on his own first.

As long as they are willing and we mitigate all risks then I have nothing to say.

Oh, most certainly. We always want to mitigate the risk when people's safety are involved.

No sense in placing others in unnecessary danger, especially if we could've done something about it.

But of course, just allow me to get my bearings and I'll risk my life for this. Ah, but I do wish to avoid returning home, even if it's temporary.
