I hope I am using this thing correctly, if not I must beg your pardon and hope I have not inconvenienced you fine people too much.
I'd like to start of with saying it is not an urgent matter but I might have suffered a few minor burns that I should probably see too before too long. Is there any healing house here where I can have them treated?

TW: Vague sucidial imagery!
[That said, as he got his Evoker out, he stared at Madehros before looking the other way for a moment.]
But as for closing your eyes...? I can heal you but I need to summon my Persona in a certain way you might not really like.
no subject
[The fact that he'd actually sought medical attention was a sign he wasn't seriously hurt, since when he actually needed healing he'd often have to be dragged to the healing halls kicking and screaming.]
Persona? Child... if healing me will cause you any harm or discomfort I'd rather you not do so on my behalf.
no subject
[All the while he was slowly backing away to point to the Evoker on his head.]
I don't want you to think I'm uh...hurting myself. [Yes because that totally makes sense.]
no subject
[Pain is so familiar to him that a bit more of it wouldn't even register most of the time.
He looks confused when he points the strange device at his own head, he has no idea what it is but it makes him feel a bit on edge for some reason.]
What... what do you mean by that? [Yes. There is definetly a sense of unease that is growing in the pit of his stomach now.]
no subject
No, it's more like that it won't cause me harm but I don't want you think that it will.
[Pause]
Because in order for me to summon my Persona, I think to think I'm in flight or fight mode. Which...will require me my mind to think I'm in danger.
no subject
[He's seen plenty of terrible things in his life and he's never once closed his eyes on any of them, he won't do it here when the boy says it is something that merely looks dangerous.]
I... think I understand. Maybe not the exact details but that you need to put your mind and body on edge for it to work... does that sound about right?
no subject
[With that, he placed the Evoker toward his head. As he stared at him, he was trying to see if there was any look of destress. As he pulled the trigger, there was a the sound of broken glass heard. Seconds later, there was a creature that appeared.
Suddenly, Maedhros could feel a warm light around him as the wound starts to heal up.]

[Wether or not there is he shows nothing on his face, though he watches the scene unfold without blinking. He'd long since learned to keep his reactions to himself most of the time, no matter what he might feel on the inside.
He does seem to breathe a bit easier once he sees it does the boy no harm, however, if one were to watch him closely. There is also an inquisitive gleam in his eye as he watches the burns fade.]
Thank you, child, that does feel better.
no subject
I'm glad that you did! Although, you can call me Ken if you like.
[That and it sure was a little interesting being called a 'child' when he technically was one.]
no subject
It is a relief to be rid of the burns, even if they would have cleared up eventualy on their own. [He gives a small smile.] If that is how you wish to be adressed, young Ken, I will do my best to keep that in mind. Though I hope you won't hold it against me if I slip up at times.
no subject
[How should he say this? As he scratched the back of his head, he started to mumble a little.]
A little too formal for me? It's not something I'm used to.
no subject
[And as such it is a bit of a second nature to him by now.]
I suppose not everyone would be used to that level of formality. I shall do my best to reign it in, my friend.
no subject
[If he was going to address him so normally...]
Do you want me to call you Mister? It seems only fair if you are going to call me so formally?
no subject
[Truth is that as long as there is no blatant disrespect he is pretty lax with how people adress him.]
But I think I can see your point. I shall do my best to be less formal from now on... Ken?
[Is he doing this right? It feels somewhat strange to be so informal, but he thinks he can get used to it.]
no subject
[Well, now that he thought about it...?]
I'm sorry, what is your name again?
no subject
[He gives a small smile to his new friend.]
You may call me Maedhros, if you wish. It is the name I prefer, though I have quite a few more to chose from if not.
no subject
[With that, he gave a pause before giving his hand out. Granted, as he stared upward, he felt a little awkward knowing how his 5'1 small self was compared to how tall he was.]
....Medhros. Now tell me, how did you managed to fight that bird from before?
no subject
You as well Ken, may a star shine upon the hour of our meeting.
[His lips quirk into an amused smile.]
I am... faster than most humans, and more nimble as well, but I think what made it turn and flee was my nature more than anything. I... lost control of myself a bit and my spirit started to, well, leak out a bit I think you might say? It can be disconcerting, I am told, and it wouldn't be the first time something saw me like that and fled.
no subject
[He said before tilting his head to the side as well. While he might have meant something different, it sure sounded a little like his other self was spilling out.]
Could I ask what is that suppose to mean?
no subject
[It was a bit hard to explain something that was such common knowledge amongst his people.]
That is my spirit, my fëa as my own people would say. Sometimes it gets a bit more... intense, so to speak.
no subject
[He didn't mean to get closer but he couldn't help it. He was interested and especially when it seems so similar to his own power.]
It can do and create powers, right?
no subject
[Elves saw these things a bit differently. It was simply an aplication of nature and knowledge to them, the things they did.]
In a way. We can impart part of our will into the things we make, for example. It is why our swords glow when our enemies are near, because our fierce hatred for them is as much part of our weapons creation as the metal we use to make them.
no subject
[With that, Ken gave a small hum.]
How interesting, it's not too different from my power. The creature that you saw? Think of it as the manifestation of my soul that allows me to fight certain creatures.
no subject
I was wondering about that, but it didn't feel threatening so I wasn't too alarmed at seeing it. So the creature was more like a fana then, a physical manefestation of spirit, than a hröa, a body like yours or mine?
no subject
[Which, now that he thought about it, was a weird thing to say.]
...Although, I never really thought about it that way.
