Nay, I've not heard of such a thing... and I've traveled my realm and beyond. Mayhap I've simply been too busy given the state of my world to travel in search of events like this.

There are games one can play such as Triple Triad, or mayhap mahjong, yet I've no knowledge of any games one plays as a team...

Ah, mahjong. It's been a while since I played that.

But no, there are games which usually revolve around getting a ball or similar object to a goal. Different games have different points allotted to scoring, but in general it's dependent on team members to keep the other team occupied while one other member moves the ball down the field towards the goal.

It depends on the size of the population generally, but yes. Baseball in Japan, for instance, is popular enough to a dozen teams and during the seasons they play there's often several games in a day.

A country, yes. Bigger than a city-state's normal borders, it consists of several large islands. Baseball is from a continent far to the east of it, though it's considered part of the "Western" world.

It used to be the New World, but that was centuries ago. And it's not like no one had been there before...

Baseball is a complicated game - maybe that can be later. Japan is an interesting country - it used to be isolationist before it was basically forced open. But nowadays it's associated with all sorts of technology and media - despite its somewhat bloody history.

But what country doesn't have one of those? It's quite rare.
