So I have been told. But in my own experience, I have not found demons particularly "spooky."

Too many teeth. Too many limbs. Animal features where they shouldn't be. Or missing heads. Or too many heads. Or just a bunch of creatures that look like they're pasted together.

I do see how such appearances would be frightening, certainly. Especially if they are not the norm in one's experiences. The unknown and unusual can be quiet upsetting upon first glance.

They also talk about wanting to eat you, so its not like its just appearance wise that they're spooky.

I have been warned many a time that demons have a penchant for eating mortals, but I have never once felt that I was in danger of being consumed.

Perhaps the demons you've met have poor self control. I believe Satan did once tell me that most demons cannot resist the urge to consume mortals.

I guess you could make an argument for Lucifer, but I still don't trust him either. He's probably waiting to take a chomp outta me given my experiences.

I have, yes. And Lucifer as well, although our acquaintance was short. I am willing to acknowledge that Lucifer would not mindlessly consume every mortal he meets, but he is so insufferably arrogant that I would not like to test the limits of his self-control.

Satan, however, has nigh-limitless self control. I never once felt endangered in his company.
