Subject: That Wasn't A Joke

Sorry to those that knew Reaper and I were planning to get married soon, we got to talking and ended up eloping rather than having a public ceremony. It's official as of this morning though, as official as it can get in this place anyhow.

We're still going to be throwing an after party at The Wild Harvest, but we figure that will be better done tomorrow so we've got time to cook up food. Whoever shows up is also welcome to bring a dish or two themselves.

[Sorry about that one Tifa- and Eustace, too. Could face crowds for others, but something quieter for them felt more fitting.

Don't... don't mind the itty-bitty kitty paw prints slowly decorating the page, even as 76 wrote. He was currently at the Wild Harvest, sitting in his break room.]

Reason that banner is hung up there at the Wild Harvest- for those of you that noticed it and know what today is. Definitely not a joke. Reaper picked it out.

There will be party favors, by the way.

Got some marinated steak for those quesadillas cooking up, and I was actually going to fix up a few burgers with the steak pieces not being used for that.

Interested? Not that hard to get some fries started to go with that.

[it doesn't take Percy long at all to go running over, because if anything else... he's going to be fueled by food.]

Check on the buns for me? Made them up fresh this morning, and I like to toast them on the flat top griddle- just lift one up carefully to see if it's toasty.

[There were already a few burgers made and still steaming on a plate, but 76 was dealing with the fries at the opposite side of the kitchen in the deep fryer he'd set up.

Of course he gestured to where the flat top was for Percy just out of habit. Smelled of garlic and steak, and fresh baked bread back there all the same.]

[Percy trots over to the griddle like he owns the place, and looks to check on the bun with a spatula.]

Hmmm... maybe a little bit longer. Close, though.

[Fries that had been briefly taken up were re-dipped back into the oil for tat good double fry; get them good and golden crispy on the outside with that good and fluffy insides. Best way to get a fry most of the time-]

Good, keep an eye on them for me. Anything else you happen to like on your burgers? Got a good few choices on hand in this kitchen after all.
