[Sorry, he's not going to put his "name" to something like this. It's awkward, and given that his "name" right now is just "Nameless Wanderer", he's pretty sure attaching it to this post would get people asking questions that aren't any of their business.]

Do you like your name? What does it mean? Who gave it to you? Would you change it if you could, and if you would what would it be?

I'm doing some research on names and why humans get so attached to them or don't.

Humans are really sentimental about their parents, apparently. Most of them were named by them and they don't seem to want to think about other names.

Parents play a large role in human development, so this is unsurprising. Their presence and their actions form the foundation through which an individual learns to interact with the world.

[ Their lack of presence, too, impacts a person equally, but she does not write that down. She's certain her assistant is all too aware of that fact.

Judging by his response, it's likely that he hasn't found this endeavor useful. But it would be unwise to make assumptions, so she prompts him again. ]
