A few days ago, a coward led some people uninvolved in the situation to confront me in the forest, despite being aware of how dangerous that was. I would like to take this moment to apologize to those that I've caused harm to. It was not my intent and that outburst won't happen again.

I've been around a kitchen a few times when I used to run a restaurant in the other world. [A shrug.] I couldn't really tell you what everything is, I just recognize when a plant is used often.

[He'll start moving out of the herb area.] You ever tried cooking anything yourself?

Hmm... well, I tried a few simple things when I was staying in that other world. Nothing too complex, though. But it always seemed like it was pretty interesting, how people could cook all kinds of things. I did think it would be interesting to learn how ice cream was made...

[He follows Kazuma as he heads out of the herb garden. He pauses for a few moments, before venturing forward carefully.]

Do you have to head home right away? Or do you have some time for a detour?

Just ice cream specifically?

[...Well, kids do like their ice cream. The weather is getting a little cold for ice cream though.]

Ah, no. I still plan to go visit the markets. [He raises his brows, curious.] Something you want to speak about in private?

Well... sea-salt ice cream is my favourite, so...

[Would be nice to have a taste of home! It feels like forever since he's had some.]

Well... not exactly to talk, but I was just wondering if you had time for a small break. That cafe run by the faeries has nice baked goods and drinks, and sometimes eating something good helps things... settle.

[He doesn't mean physically settle, but there had been a lot of times where just quietly sitting and eating ice cream with friends had made hard topics seem to settle on their own in his heart. Maybe Kazuma needs something similar?]

[Ah. That makes sense.] Well I never made ice cream myself, but I can ask a friend if he might know.

[He considers his suggestion for a moment. His solution to something bothering him is to just keep himself busy. Just taking a moment to slow down...hm.]

That cafe with those drinks that cause interesting things to happen? [Some of those teas get into personal stuff.]

[Roxas does perk up at that, and nods with a grin. That would be great if he could! It's been... gosh, it feels like forever since he's had sea salt ice cream.]

Yeah, those ones. Some of the teas are pretty calming. And there are these pastries that have whipped cream in them that are really good.

[He says that like it's a selling point. Because to him, it is. He doesn't know what they're called, just that they're tasty.]

[He hums quietly.]

Do you know which tea those are? I rather not accidentally drink something that causes one to start dreaming or reveal personal information. [Because he'll only go if he's sure he can get something that won't tell his secrets. As for the pastries...]

I usually prefer more savoury pastries than sweet ones myself, but I'll give it a try.

Uh... well, I'm not too sure... I think the one I had was one with purple leaves, so maybe avoid that one?

[He doesn't remember exactly which one he had, but maybe seeing it again will jog his memory.]

Savoury pastries? [Like... savoury like meat? He tilts his head a bit in confusion, but grins at Kazuma's agreement.]

Well, let's go, then.

[...Guess he'll just see if he can just get water. He'll start walking while talking.]

Yea, the kinds stuffed with meat and vegetables. I prefer things that aren't too sweet.

Huh... I didn't know that you could make desserts with meat and veggies.

[He tilts his head as he follows Kazuma. Pastries were usually dessert, right?]

Guess there's still a lot of things I need to learn.

Well...they're not usually served as desserts. You never heard of a meat pie?

[twilightskey]

Meat pie?

[He shakes his head.]

No, never heard of that before. Is that something common from your world?

[chippedsoul]

Well, the pie version is a western style we've adapted recently. Usually we have dumplings, but we also have steamed meat buns. [Talking about them has him thinking about them. So now there are some floating images of meat buns around them.]

[twilightskey]

Huh...

[Roxas would ask more about them, but he blinks in surprise as he sees the floating images around them. He stares in surprise, a small grin forming on his face.]

Woah... Is this what you mean?

[He's going to reach out and poke at one.]

Yes...that's a meat bun. [The bun will actually react, soft and squishy when poked. Sadly if attempted to be eaten, it will be nothing but air.]

Best eaten after freshly steamed.

[Roxas reaches for one to try and hold it. But when he tries to bite into it... well, that's a shame. He hums, but nods.]

I've never had anything like this before. But it looks really tasty.

[He hums quietly.]

I'll see if I can find some ingredients to prepare them and offer you some next time. Or at least, have my legal aide cook them. She's a much better cook than me.

[Roxas doesn't know what a legal aide is, but maybe it's like a partner or something. Either way, he nods.]
