Subject: Requesting Personal Stories About Adventures and/or Travels and Other Items in Relation to Dream Board Post #1205
I am in need of numerous stories about any kind of adventure, journey, or travel you may have embarked on be it in this world or your own.
If you've seen my posting on the board, this post is to provide fuller details about the situation. Last month I had been...trapped in a large tree located on the eastern forests, and within this tree are seven dogs which look like corgis. [Have an imprinted image of what the adorable fluffballs look like:]

It all appears to have been pulled in from another world and has remnants of its original magic in place. This magic is a protection spell and prevents the dogs and anything within the tree to leave. Should the dogs somehow manage to leave without it... They will likely die.
Even if it's for their protection, the dogs need and want to go outside. Furthermore, Should something happen to the tree they wouldn't be able to escape. Fortunately, a way to break the original enchantment and cast a new one to protect them as they live in this world has been found. It's simple and requires the following:
None of these are specific so it's whatever can be found, though the better quality, the better chance of succeeding. However, because of the number of dogs, a large amount of each will be needed to ensure they are properly protected. It would be better if there was a better solution, but this will have to do for now.
As for the adventure stories, as mentioned I need a large amount so I would like to ask any willing to share any personal stories they had. There are no specifics, but I get the sense the story should have some spirit of exploration and discovery, which would fit the purpose of the spell. These stories will be transcribed in a journal used for the spell.
Finally, I am looking to create a headstone. The tree and the dogs had a guardian before, however he perished upon leaving the tree. The remains have been buried, but a headstone would be appropriate as well.
If you have any questions, feel free contact me. You can drop off the ingredients at the Fairy Doghouse located within the Residential District. There will be a designated bin for the items. [He draws a brief map with directions. The dogs he refers to are the flower fairy dogs that were brought in a while back.]
Thank you.

[Could already hear the buzzing, a few of the smaller bees visible buzzing about. Why was it the smaller bees that ventured further? He had no idea, but the larger ones seemed to stick closer to the hives.]
Couldn't tell you other than the same reason any other insects around here are that big.
no subject
[Now that he could see the bees in person, it really is intriguing to see how they look and behave.]
They didn't show hostility when you first approached them?
no subject
None, which was weird. I can only put it towards them not being from a place where they had threats.
[The buzzing grew louder, and some clearing could be seen ahead- and that was one pudgy and fluffy-as-fuck blue bee flying right at him rather quickly just to... land on his shoulder and wiggle about. Head butting against his jaw and side of his neck, fluffy bee feet clinging to the sweater fibers.]
... They started doing this when I came by more. Been a while since I visited this particular hive, guess they noticed.
no subject
...Perhaps it helped that you didn't appear threatening to them either.
[At least spiritually or whatever.]
But I suppose they recognize and trust you. Do they have stingers like other honey bees?
no subject
Some left a bit of oddly glittery pollen on him, 76 just lightly brushing it off when he could see it.
The hive in sight was large, taking up most of what was likely a hallowed out but living tree.]
They do, yeah. Haven't seen one use a stinger yet, and I frankly don't want to. Strange as they seem, could pack a wallop or worse in a sting.
no subject
Or naive of the bees, but they seem a lot more reserved and guarded around himself, so it really is more about them basically accepting 76 into their group.]
...Most likely.
[He then stares up at the hive...and again he can't help but be impressed by the size of it.]
Are there other groups of these bees out there?
no subject
More of them had come out when he never really did anything harmful to them, and well- he'd never have found the other hives if they didn't see him as a non-threat.]
Yeah, few different hives, all of them sort of like this one. [He carefully lifted the bee from his shoulder so it could take flight, only to have another one land in his hand. Smaller, of course.]
Still, should be able to get a few jars of honey from here.
no subject
I won't take more than they're willing. ...Though I should leave that process to you.
[Although they haven't been hostile towards him, he's a stranger so its understandable that they're still a little wary.
That said, some are hovering near his ears... Which is only a little annoying because their buzzing is louder.]
no subject
[Eustace can help that way. A Helper.
At least none of the fatter bees had decided the other's head looked like a great place to take a rest. 76 was approaching the hive, pulling a jar from the satchel he had on him as he moved down to a crouch, sitting on his feet. A few other bees came out even as he reached a gloved hand inside.
Hole was big enough he could have comfortably fit his head and an arm inside, but he'd rather not go all in like that. A few landed on him as he worked, careful how he collected. It glittered once he had a piece of comb and pulled it out, the color a striking mix of light blues and darker pinks, a hint of red. Jar was moved in net, using the place he'd taken that bit of comb from to place it for ease.
All around, the bees worked as if this was normal.]
Can come on over, I'll hand you this in a moment and get to the next.
no subject
Hearing the cue, he carefully makes his way over before crouching down.]
Does it always remain this color, even when it's cooked or used?
no subject
[Once the jar was filled he pulled it out and screwed on the lid, passing to over the Eustace as he took up another empty jar from his bag -with the clean hand- to start the process of filling it.
He'd done it enough times he had a process down.]
Honey color differs from hive to hive, too. Depends on what they're getting their supply from, which of course changes the taste like it would normal honey as well.
no subject
So even the flowers will affect the colors? Interesting. Do you know which create these?
no subject
[Did take a taste from a small bit of honeycomb, even if it meant removing the faceguard of his mask, and that was what he was getting. A few other things mixed in but, well. It wasn't bad. This was a particularly fruity sweetness that had some floral to it.
Not bad.]
Differs from hive to hive- but it means there's a pomegranate tree around here somewhere.
no subject
You could start your own grove out here. Do you sell any of this? [Or, well, trade since money is not a thing.]
no subject
Second jar of honey was passed back, this one having larger hints of shimmering red. That one would taste more of pomegranate if he had to bet anything. Which meant h was taking up a third jar to repeat the process.]
I don't, no. Use it for some of my own things, otherwise I've given a jar or two away to some folks and it stores well enough. [Hadn't thought of using it for trade either. Probably could.]
no subject
[And upon looking at the three jars, he considers for a moment.]
And three should be enough.
[Perhaps more than enough. He doesn't really know exactly how much honey he needs, for all he knows it could just be a tablespoon per dog, but he also doesn't want to take more than necessary.]
no subject
[At the very least it could be decent to use in trading for things. Get a few of those small jars for, well, smaller things in trading.
A nod as he worked, keeping the flow of honey in to the jar slow with a bit of honeycomb in it as well.]
Whatever you end up not using you can keep.
no subject
[...It's a lot of honey man—]
no subject
[A treehouse filled with jars, a few safehouses as well.
Enjoy being handed that third jar, 76 leaning back on his heels.] Can give it to someone else if you want, too.
no subject
[He takes the jar and sets it in the bag with the others before stepping back to give 76 some space. By now, some of the smaller bees had decided to rest on his hair, perhaps finding the color similar to 76's. Occasionally one brushes against his ear and it's difficult to stop the automatic flick from the ticklish feeling.]
I also owe you for this, so if there's anything you ever need assistance, just contact me.
no subject
Less mess that way.]
Let me know how it goes with breaking that spell. Could be something more to that tree.
no subject
[Because dogs more important.
As he stands, he tries to gently wave the bees away from his head.]
Anything I can do to help clean up here?
[He still feels like he should do something more than just take the jars and leave.]
no subject
[Isn't that how things like this worked? Meet certain conditions to get further clues to open up some secret.
Sounded like a video game or even a game campaign, but this was a dream. Could work the same way.
76 dropped the fist full of snow, brushing it off his hands, even as another bee landed on his shoulder as if it simply wanted a break from flying.]
Nah, anything with the hive they'll take care of, and I try to be careful. Appreciate the offer. [Bag pulled back up and over the shoulder without a bee on it, checking through it slowly.]
