Subject: Requesting Personal Stories About Adventures and/or Travels and Other Items in Relation to Dream Board Post #1205

I am in need of numerous stories about any kind of adventure, journey, or travel you may have embarked on be it in this world or your own.

If you've seen my posting on the board, this post is to provide fuller details about the situation. Last month I had been...trapped in a large tree located on the eastern forests, and within this tree are seven dogs which look like corgis. [Have an imprinted image of what the adorable fluffballs look like:]



It all appears to have been pulled in from another world and has remnants of its original magic in place. This magic is a protection spell and prevents the dogs and anything within the tree to leave. Should the dogs somehow manage to leave without it... They will likely die.

Even if it's for their protection, the dogs need and want to go outside. Furthermore, Should something happen to the tree they wouldn't be able to escape. Fortunately, a way to break the original enchantment and cast a new one to protect them as they live in this world has been found. It's simple and requires the following:

• Bee Honey
  
• Fish Scales
  
• Adventure Stories

None of these are specific so it's whatever can be found, though the better quality, the better chance of succeeding. However, because of the number of dogs, a large amount of each will be needed to ensure they are properly protected. It would be better if there was a better solution, but this will have to do for now.

As for the adventure stories, as mentioned I need a large amount so I would like to ask any willing to share any personal stories they had. There are no specifics, but I get the sense the story should have some spirit of exploration and discovery, which would fit the purpose of the spell. These stories will be transcribed in a journal used for the spell.

Finally, I am looking to create a headstone. The tree and the dogs had a guardian before, however he perished upon leaving the tree. The remains have been buried, but a headstone would be appropriate as well.

[ She takes the notebook then, quickly licking her pointer finger so that she can flip through it more easily. She just wants an idea of how much of the book is filled already, but if it's blank, that's fine too. She had been prepared for that. ]

I see. I'd better make it soon, then. [ It is already snowing after. ] I can get started today and let you know my progress tomorrow? [ The day after? ASAP? ]

That will be appreciated, but don't rush too much. There are still the other materials I'll need to gather as well. For now... Set a deadline for by the end of the week, the longest before the end of the month.

[ Oh OK. She was totally prepared to go full throttle, but admittedly it's a bit of a relief (for her wrists, mainly) that it isn't quite that urgent. ]

Alright... I'll start with my own adventures, then, and you can send me whatever else you have at your leisure. [ She shuts the book again. She no longer has her kimono sleeve as hammer space, so thankfully the sweater the powers that be have stuck her in have made it a size too big. ]

...How often do you visit them? If I may ask.

Right now almost daily.

[He crouches down a little to affectionately rub the head of the nearest one before running his hand through its leafy floof hmmm.]

Fortunately the tree's magic provides them with food and they are rather self-sustaining... But it's become routine for me to check on them myself.

[ Susato nods, as if to say, "I understand." ]

I was just thinking... it must be hard to leave them. We can stay and keep them company for a bit, surely?

Of course, you're welcome to stay as long as you wish.

[ Well... they may not technically be his dogs, but it sounded like they may as well have been, so it's good to have his permission, so to speak. Either way, Susato softly smiles in return, and then picks up a toy again. ]

...Hear that? It's play time!

[ And she tosses it, sending multiple corgis running.

Does Eustace stay and join them, or does he have better things to do? ]

[Given everything, he's basically their guardian for now and he will protect them with his life—okay maybe not but close enough. And he would just let them be and try and organize a few things, but the dogs won't let that happen oh no! They have two playmates and outnumber the two-leggeds, so one will grab a tug rope and growl at Eustace before shaking it.

With a low chuckle, he takes the other end of the rope and gives it a hard pull, practically dragging the dog along before it digs in to try and fight back. As Eustace continues the fierce tug-of-war game, he glances at Susato.]

Have you been around dogs a lot before?

[ Susato, meanwhile, when she is not playing fetch with them, finds herself entertaining them with squeak toys. They live up to their name squeak-squeaking every time they're chewed, and she can already tell she has dog hair and slobber everywhere, but she can't bring it in herself to mind too much.

At Eustace's question, she shakes her head. ]

We've never owned one, but a friend of mine found herself in possession of a police dog. Back home, I mean. [ Technically, Great Britain, which may as well be her second home, even though she had decided to leave it. ] ...Oh! I'll also be taking one for a walk very soon.

[ Excitement! ]

And are you talking about the one mentioned on the board?

[ Susato nods to answer both questions, but gives a quick explanation just to clarify. ]

Sort of like a tracking dog. They're specially trained to follow certain scents in the hopes that they'll find suspects, or illegal goods or the like.

[ ANYWAY. ]

B, But yes! that's the one exactly. Blossom is her name... Do you know her owners?

I see.

[He looks contemplative as he thinks about her description. How talented... He knows of dogs used for hunting and tracking, but not so much for law enforcement. Maybe they could have some in the Society—

Anyway.]

I have met Jiang Cheng once before. [In... Less ideal circumstances.] If I didn't have my hands full here I would have offered to assist.

[ The feeling she gets is a little strange. Maybe they didn't get along, or maybe Reverein was just...... Reverein, causing some unfortunate mishaps. She can't claim she knows either party very well, so she decides to just nod and go along with it. ]

I'm sure he understands. I've only just met him though, really, and it was mainly to see how Blossom and I got on.

I can already tell she is quite the handful.

He can't really comment on Jiang Cheng's personality as he wasn't a bad person, just.... S...pirited and had something of a haughty air...? So let's focus on the dog.]

Is she energetic? Stubborn? What breed?

[ Susato is definitely fine with just focusing on the dog. ]

That I recall, she is an quite energetic mix of pitbull and husky. You could say she is stubborn, but it may be more accurate to say she is simply... untrained?

[ It feels kinder, at least. ]

She is still young.

...Ah. I imagine it would be even more difficult with that kind of mix.

Do you know if she's socialized? She could play with the other dogs and work out some of that energy.

I haven't seen how she acts around other dogs, but perhaps I can ask, once I see how she does around other people.

I suppose she could keep them company while we finish the spell?

[He thinks for a moment before he slowly nods.]

This group may be for the best. The other dogs in the neighborhood are pups so they may be too young for her. Some of these are older so she may learn better behavior from them as well.
