Hey there! You can just call me Alphen. I've already encountered many warriors and seasoned soldiers. We have strong fighters here.

I'm interested in seeing weaponry or combat gear. There are some really neat swords with intriguing designs. Still, I know that a weapon can be lethal all the same. So I've been meaning to ask a question as well.

For what reason would you fight?

I fight to protect my friends. I want to use my strength for the right reasons.

Granted, all I know how to do is wield a sword. I'd be more than glad to put those skills to use. I'm willing to spar and exchange combat moves with someone. Maybe we can learn with one another. I can't exactly let my blade rust when seriously powerful beasts could attack at any moment.

Have you ever tried using another weapon, Alphen? I bet a guy like you could be pretty handy with an axe or a lance! You just have to be like BAM and K-SHAW and FWIP with it. [Yes, he actually wrote out those sound effects.]

Oh or I could show you how to fight with your whole body, just like Dad taught me! Don't need to worry about weapons when you are a weapon!

No, actually I haven't used other weapons nearly as much. It's either that or I can't remember.

The way Zephyr fights is a sight to behold. He's an experienced fighter and there's no denying that. You're just as strong too, Law. I'll do my best to learn what I can from you.

Great. Training starts at 4 AM.

[Don't take him seriously, Alphen. You'll regret it because he won't get up that early.]

That early? I'd be awake at that time but you still need your rest.

Remember how Zephyr used to say we shouldn't push ourselves too hard.

I didn't say I'd be awake at that time. But you're gonna need all the training time you can get if you wanna reach Dad's level, and even more if you even hope to reach mine!

Have you been eating balanced meals? Hey, I know I'm not Kisara but you can't just go eating meat all the time.

I need protein if I want to build my muscles more. And where does protein come from? Meat! So I need meat. Find me a carrot full of protein and we'll talk.

What if we just tried making new recipes? That might be a good idea.

Changing the way food tastes could make a world of difference.

No offense, Alphen, but your idea of changing how a food tastes is to make it taste like searing hot PAIN.

It's really delicious! The intensity is part of what makes it good. Before I couldn't even feel pain so it didn't bother me.

I'm guessing it's still too much for you then.

I'm saying that because of how long I spent in the bathroom last time I ate something you cooked! I don't even wanna think about what you'd do to make some broccoli taste good!

All I did was add some herbs! Thought it was a nice touch.

Alright just how long did you spend in the bathroom? It can't be that bad.

I was on the pot for two hours, man. TWO. HOURS! I can feel my butt burning just thinking about it...
