hey guys! i'm sora! i've been hanging out in this world for about five months now!

i wanted to asked everyone something that might help me figure out what i'm looking for. i wanted to ask what you think a heart is made out of.

and i don't mean your heart that makes your body work. i mean your heart. the thing inside of you that makes you who you are. that makes you happy or feel great. that makes you angry or cry. the heart inside of you that makes you part of everything around you or makes you see the light or darkness in your world.

i guess some people would call those souls? but i've always known them as hearts!

i wanna know what you think makes you, you. what your heart says about you! and how you think it got there.

if you know about kokoro too then that's a safe bet it's a good lead!

i'd like to think that something like that would make a heart over time, yeah. but sometimes it's still missing one key thing and i don't know what it is. maybe spirit? some people have been saying blood or spirit or mind and it's just a lot!

but i think it's true that a big part of making a heart is our experiences!

I wish I could help better on the piece that seems missing. It sounds like there isn't a good translation that fully encompasses the concept of heart.

yeah i know, it sounds like a lot of worlds have their own ideas about this stuff. i wish it was a little easier to figure out if its all connected somehow

but it is kind of fun learning about how everyone sees it too. i think the biggest thing i've learned is that we all know our heart is a special part of us that makes us, us

me? i think the biggest part of what makes up a heart is how you feel about other people. at least how strong a heart is is how much you can feel and relate to other hearts.

i mean there's light and darkness and all that too but

i think a heart is how we feel about others

I like that answer. It makes sense, doesn't it? So much of how someone shows they have heart is in how they interact with others.

yeah! it is! i think if people can keep growing and changing that a heart will too.

i'm glad you don't think any of this is weird! haha

It doesn't seem weird at all. People talk about these things all the time, don't they? Questions about what makes us who we are, and why people think, feel, and act the way they do.

yeah, i guess it's really not all that weird once i write it out.

sometimes i do wish it was a little easier to understand all this stuff though. the universe is pretty big

It is big! And there's so much that we don't know.

I wonder if you've ever thought about becoming a scientist? I bet your curiosity would be a great asset in that line of work.

ahah me?? i don't know, donald says i'm not smart enough to even wrap my head around my math homework so i don't know if i could do something as crazy as be a scientist??

I think you could do it if you put your mind to it! If it's what you wanted for yourself.

And it might not be-- that's okay, too, isn't it? It was just a thought.

it was a really nice thought! i mean, maybe i could handle something like that! who knows! i've always gotta put my best foot forward!

but don't you have to go through a lot of school to be a scientist??

Maybe. I'm sure it depends on the field and position. Do you not like school?

i just haven't been to school in a while

uh huh! let's just say i was busy helping to save the galaxy a few times. it's a rough life, you know? hahaha

it's not that i don't wanna go to school though! i don't mind learning stuff but uhhhh i don't wanna do homework either
