hey guys! i'm sora! i've been hanging out in this world for about five months now!

i wanted to asked everyone something that might help me figure out what i'm looking for. i wanted to ask what you think a heart is made out of.

and i don't mean your heart that makes your body work. i mean your heart. the thing inside of you that makes you who you are. that makes you happy or feel great. that makes you angry or cry. the heart inside of you that makes you part of everything around you or makes you see the light or darkness in your world.

i guess some people would call those souls? but i've always known them as hearts!

i wanna know what you think makes you, you. what your heart says about you! and how you think it got there.

Yeah, that's, umm... What was it called... Symphonic... Simple... Oh! A synthetic Spiria! Mecha-Knights have those. Kuznite always said he didn't have real emotions because his Spiria was synthetic instead of something he was born with, but I know that isn't true at all. His Spiria might have been fake, but his feelings were as real as real can be!

[Kor's got a lot of feelings on the topic of whether one can have fake emotions.]

Lithia and her sister were the ones who made the Mecha-Knights, so I'm sure she knows about making synthetic Spirias too!

a what?? synthetic?! well you know who isn't a robot you know! he's got the rest of it but

i wish we could ask lithia about it...

come on kor, why can't you make one?

I wouldn't even know the first thing about doing something like that...

[He knows a lot about healing Spirias, but making them?? That's beyond his limited intelligence.]

...oh! That reminds me of something else though!!

[Sora is really hoping he's not chasing cats. He really wants to find something that will work. Without the power of waking... Kor knows so much about spirias that he was hoping!]

something else?? do you know something else?

I don't think if they're the same as a genuine Spiria, but I've seen things besides people develop Spirias of their own. Animals, a bell, even a large mural! Maybe that'll work?

really? if you know that stuff like that can develop a spiria maybe it would happen.

you know, i always thought that he had something building up inside of him already. i mean, we've all been around for a while, you know? and you've seen, he's got all sorts of memories and thoughts of his own.

maybe we should try to see if he does have a spiria? or at least part of one

Yeah! You were bonded with him and spent so much time with him and shared so much with him, he's got to have something growing in there by now!

[Kor's had his doubts about whether Vanitas truly only has half a heart or not for a good while now...]

Though... I don't know how we'll convince him to let me check...

[Sora thinks so too but apparently Vanitas still feels that gap inside of him...]

leave that part to me, i'll make sure we convince him to at least let us check!

[Kor's pretty sure if he asked himself, Vanitas would never agree. And even though he sometimes will barge into a person's Spiria without permission, that's usually under more dire circumstances...]

Alright it's all up to you then, Sora! I'm counting on you!

[Vanitas can be a little cagey like that. But Sora can be annoying about stuff so it works out.]

you can count on me for it, yeah! you just keep that soma of yours ready!

Who do you think you're talking to here? My Soma's always at the ready! [He literally got up at 4 in the morning to help you, Sora. He's always ready when it comes to being a Somatic.]

ahah i knew it! just making sure you won't get rusty on me, hah!

You're the one who should be worried about getting rusty, Mr. Keyblade!

[get it, because keys are metal and get rusty? ]

Of course. What are brothers for, after all?

[Recent events have only reinforced that bond he and Sora share. He'll do anything for his family.]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora can't help grinning at that.]

you know, i'm glad you think so still, kor! we're brothers forever! no matter what happens!

[Being an only child and having no living family left? Kor was all too glad to have somebody he could call family again.]

Even another world couldn't keep us apart. Brothers forever!

[And with how much he misses Riku and Kairi all the time he really appreciates Kor's friendship.]

that's right!

together we'll figure it all out! i've been finding out a lot of different things from other people too. did you know there's people called celestials that have cores instead of hearts? those cores can break off shards and can be put into other people

i dunno if that'll be the greatest way to go though

wait seriously?!

[That catches his attention. That sounds way too familiar.]

That sounds just like what can happen with a Spiria!

big time seriously!!

but i dunno it feels a little weird to think that the shard would have belonged to another heart before, i don't know about this one!

[Something tells him Vanitas would not be happy with someone else's dead "heart" in him.]

Yeah no kidding...

[Kor remembers all too well what happened when Kohaku's Spiria shattered, and its shards wound up inside other people. It'd probably be the same thing here; even if the person was dead, their fragmented heart would still be alive and would affect Vanitas. Who knows what kind of impact it would have on him as a person.]

If only we could just make him a new half-heart with dreamotion, that'd solve all our problems!

[And while Sora has somehow helped others with their own hearts before he's lost the power of waking in this world. He's not sure how to replicate any of that anymore. It's too complicated (and to be honest would probably only damage sora further.).]

yeah if only it was as easy as that huh

wait

do you think we could somehow do that? i don't know how powerful dreamotion really is when i think about it

[Kor considers himself to be actually very skilled with dreamotion. The principles behind it weren't really all that different from things he already knew how to do.

...But it also meant he wasn't very creative with it. He used it to do things he already knew, rather than try to do things he couldn't before.]

I'm not sure? I never even thought about using it like that

maybe we should try that too?? i'm ready to explore every option we can think up!!

[Sora's own dreamotion is strong but still in the learning phase. He can make some pretty explosive things. But nothing like shaping a whole heart. Yet...? What are the limitations for dreams anyway? Could they do it?]
